Oh no, hollie is giving me the passive aggresive yellow smilie, have I gone too far?
I don't think I have.
Can you imagine if you were in Africa with your new love and your ex was looking after your kids, which bit of news would have you returning?
Him getting married? Likely to die? Or getting back with his ex who you hate?
Every time you think they are getting better they just fling in some rubbishy return/storyline/cameo/character change and I am one of the people who enable them to keep doing it by continuing to watch.
What next, Esther becoming an alcoholic despite the new liver? Sinead passing an exam although she never does any work? Will becoming a sympathetic character? Sienna managing not to sneer?
I'm done basically, don't care if they bring back Silas, Warren and the ghost of Rob Hawthorne I can't be bothered with their lacksidasical efforts to be realistic.
But that is my point BH, no one is glad she is back because it seems likely that she would rush home from Namibia for this non existent crisis.
You are glad because the kids will go, I've seen some mad woman on tumblr who is glad Amy is coming back because she thinks she will beat some sense into Ste and make him go back to Doug.
And so on.
It's like she was passing the studio and they said hey, wanna film a couple of scenes?
I'm only spouting off about this storyline because it bugs me the most but there are a million examples I could give of them seeming to film stuff because it wasn't the end of the day and they had a few of the cast around.
I've seen more organisation and pride in the end product in a crack house.
Also I like how Walker is able to sit somewhere, I assume nearby Hollyoaks if not actually somewhere in Hollyoaks, face out, with a pretty lady. A well known murderer for killing the local celebrity footballer.
Makes tons, and tons, and tons of logical sense that nobody would recognize him, or that he could just swan around in public like the police wouldn't be looking for him, or have been looking for him.
Just chilling around, like a normal person.
*rages*
ETA: Also, amazingly, Ste showed a sign of his old self with Lee - way back when Amy wanted to take the kids to America, and she didn't say "Right well that solves it then, you are back to your old self, bad abusive man."
There's no real difference. She's overreacting to something that I'm almost certain she'd never overreact to because she hasn't in the past. She didn't even when he socked Brendan round the back of the head with a frigging weapon! It just feels like a total mess.

now that you metioned it ,it would have made more sense if she just came to get them because the six months they were meant to stay is over or she came back early from africa.my understanding is they were never meant to stay for good untill the america thing happened, but now that she knows they never moved ,did they go back to the original plan?.another way they could have done it is have ste and brendan send the kids to amy to get them out of the way when things kick off.anyways the fact that walker had her called we dont know what horror stories she was told, even though it make no sense she will jump on a plane over the words of some stranger.oh well:D
A detailed distraction from his swishy VO5 hair.
ETA: It probably would've made more sense had Doug called her because he was concerned, to be perfectly honest. Not even because it would've made him the villain, but because it would've made much more sense than any of this Walker stuff is.
I still want to know how he got her number to give to Kevin in the first place. What is he, some mastermind phonehacker?
. She didn't even when he socked Brendan round the back of the head with a frigging weapon! It just feels like a total mess.
That I agree with but Hollyoaks has never really been about realism, no matter how hard they try to make out it is. No soap is, not completely. They all have massive holes in their plots from time to time, especially long running ones, but as a casual viewer you can look past them, whilst we do not. Even the most popular TV shows have mistake after mistake in.
You just have to let it go if you ever want to enjoy anything

What really pains me is that not only she's gonna treat Ste like shit and take the kids away from him, but she'll probably blame Brendan for Ste's "regression", and tell him that it's all his fault and that he has ruined a family  Jesus Christ. I hope he rips her a new one.
Don't even get me started about f*cking Walker, annoying punk ass bitch that he is. Why is he so happy about this anyway????? Does he suddenly hate Ste?

Oh I know but they're just ruining Amy's character for the sake of it, and thinking we're stupid by having Walker swan around just cos they fancied getting Neil onscreen a bit more.
It'd just be like Silas walking around without a care in the world through the village after he'd been arrested for killing all those girls (like when he got on that bus, that was ridiculous too). They could at least make Walker hide a bit more but they're not even attempting to, he's just hiding from Brendan except that time he practically stuck his face against Ste's flat window.

Yeah, it's all really annoying me now.
The thing with Walker is, I always thought he wanted to hurt Ste to hurt Brendan - as in physically take Ste away from him, so he knew what it felt like. Not just have Ste cry a bit cos his kids have gone to live with their bloody mother. Hardly soul destroying!
But that is my point BH, no one is glad she is back because it seems likely that she would rush home from Namibia for this non existent crisis.

I do know where you are coming from. It would definitely make more sense for her to come back for, oh I don't know, her best friend's possible death than for her best friend's new, happy, loving relationship with the guy he's in love with.
However, I don't find it ridiculously impossible that she would come back to take the kids away if she felt there was a threat to them (even though there's clearly NOT, but that's a different story) I think in terms of terrible plot ideas this isn't the worst one I've seen Hollyoaks carry out. Amy coming back for Ste's possible death didn't really contribute anything to the progress of any storyline, while her coming back for the kids does. Plus it leaves her on bad terms with Ste and also leaves Ste with no one.
Having said all that though I do know where you're coming from. I guess I have just come to accept that in soaps sometimes ridiculously unbelievable things happen.

ETA: Ethan would've seen Walker.
Or DI Small. Or maybe not.
"If you're not Walker, then who is?"
I think he wants to see him suffer because if Ste suffers then Brendan suffers too? Or maybe he wants to punish him because he loves Brendan and Brendan doesn't deserved to be loved?

Or he's just gone batshit crazy and none of his plan actually makes sense anymore.

they are trying to re-habilitate doug .had they had doug called the whole stendan fandom would have turned on him with torches blazing.am sure they thought about it with doug being concerned and were like no, at least they already hate walker.

Not ASD. Just Amy.

Well I'm getting some practice in and raging about HOs in general.
Goodness me when I think of all the time I have wasted watching this crappy program I have to start examining my state of mind.
*buys a book on meditation and gets the flip flops out*
AND NOBODY RECOGNIZED HIM.
IN A PUB THAT RILEY OWNED.
IN THE VILLAGE HE KILLED RILEY.
*breaks things*
How can they make such massive plotholes?
I know he wasn't exactly facing everyone with a sign saying "HIYA, I KILLED RILEY!" but Jesus Christ.

MUCH BETTER ???
it is obviously Brendan'S outfit (almost same shirt) not Emmetts, pic belongs to yesterday ......
Because Jack wasn't working that day.
You just want him stabbed by Ste's tiny knife.

BH
I think so!
I can almost see the fluffy collar.
Plot twist: Will is Walker
The Amy stuff kinda does, but the Walker stuff just doesn't.
Bringing him back for both Mitzeee and Brendan's exit was such a rubbish idea.
Or he's just gone batshit crazy and none of his plan actually makes sense anymore.
He's probably forgotten why he's even doing it.
I don't think thats Kayla's mum as I am sure she is blonde
Walker saw Brendan having his happy ending and a perfect little family unit and he wants to destroy that before the end game.
