VIDEOS:
I imagine the jump in views for Lipstick and Waterline are due to impending Eurovision:
Lipstick usually averages about 18,000 views per week. The past week 25,400 views.
Waterline averages about 5 to 6000 views per week. The past week, 78, 445 (Huge increase)
Young Love was averaging about 9000 views per week, but after BTR cover it jumped by 38,800 views this past week.
Delilah, as Rosemary pointed out was featured on an American blog. I assume that’s the reason for the jump in views. It was averaging less than a 1000 views per week. This last week, 52,250 views.
The following vids have all jumped significantly but I’m not sure why:
Little Things cover: usual average per week 1,100 views. The past week, 27,241
Hall of Fame cover: usual average per week 1,500 views. The past week, 67,000
Greenday cover: usual average per week under 1000 views. The past week, 72,100
Miss America: usual average per week 1,500 views. The past week, 150,470!!
Wow! Does anyone know why?
(The 'usual averages per week' are the recent averages as I said, all the average views decline somewhat every week)
Amazing Ertana! Thanks for this.
Maybe the reason the views went up are all the new fans from Canada? Lipstick and Waterline could be cause of Eurovision, but Miss America... I have no idea Covers kind of make sense, they're all very popular songs and people like covers in general.

Don't forget the twins got to advertise JEDWARDTV on TV on the Chart show and loads of music blogs and websites when they plugged it at the end of the behind the scenes video.
I think it went unnoticed because they uploaded the teaser of the music video in JedwardTV aaaaages ago and everybody had lost hope of them uploading it (I can't find the teaser now in JedwardTV, maybe they deleted it) and like it was uploaded by the time YL was released, people were thinking more in the new songs.
I'm happy it got almost a million, is a very good work
The interesting thing is they filmed it in Autumn 2011 but didn't upload the video until a good seven or eight months later.
I don't think they have, their subscribers have also risen significantly as well
To be honest Rosemary their subscribers on JedwardTV haven’t had a significant increase.
Here is a few samples of numbers for new subscribers, taken over a weekly periods:
Number of subscribers per week, ending:
24/07/2012: 663 new subscribers.
28/08/2012: 1,344 (Taylor swift cover, just back from Singapore, XtraFactor hosts could be reason for subscriber spike that week)
14/09/2012: 527
23/10/2012: 413
07/11/2012: 603
14/11/2012: 777
21/11/2012: 416
28/11/2012: 561
14/12/2012: 372
25/01/2013: 304
08/02/2013: 425
22/02/2013: 221
25/03/2013: 400
01/04/2013: 374
08/04/2013: 354
15/04/2013: 319 new subscribers for JedwardTV.
The amount of views changes quite significantly depending on what is happening e.g. release of new video etc.
But as you can see by the above examples, subscribers have actually decreased a little over time. But that is normal until something significant happens and they reach a new audience.
I imagine when they get to Australia we will see a big jump in subscribers again, like after Singapore.
Still, I think the amount of new subscribers that they get every week after such a long time is fantastic. Always growing.
Also, to have over 74,000 subscribers and close to 39 million views is amazing

only pity that most of these subscribers don`t watch also the other JEDWARDTV vids which have nothing to do with their music.Miss their funny videos but considering that many of their funny videos have very few viewers(compared to the amount of subscribers) I understand that J&E seem not to be interested any more to do them.

Great for them, bad for me I'm visiting UK for the first time next week and I was hoping I'd be able to see them or something. Better luck next time I guess.

I'm sorry for you two guys. Ertana, maybe the twins will be back later like they did with Canada

Well, after some covers and their music vids, the most watched JedwardTV videos are: John in the bubble bath, the banana one and How to have a shower, which are 3 JedwardTV classics. All of them have around half a million views, which is pretty good.
Interesting! Could refer to just about anything....we'll just have to wait and see
Yeah I was wondering if the twins told him something more or less specific and he (obviously) can't talk about it, which would be quite exciting, or if they just told him the usual "we have so many projects, we're going to Australia and Sweden, we're recording new songs, etc" which would be less exciting as it really wouldn't be news

My theory is these three videos are all popular because they have quite enticing thumbnail photos, not to mention the saucy titles that promise semi-naked Jeds!
I'm excited about the news of Australian media shows. They're getting booked on really high-profile TV and radio shows, which is Jepic. And I'm looking forward to the novelty of not having to stay up late or wake up early to catch their appearances!

The latter two are the two biggest TV channels in Australia so that's cool
The twins were shown meeting TV3 current affairs presenter Vincent Browne at some function in Dublin on Xposé a short while ago and a clip of Happens In The Dark was included

Is that possible with YouTube ?

Never underestimate the power of advertising
Who else but the twins would show themselves buying a Barbie doll in a toy store? It's a great video....a brilliant piece of pop culture.
The interesting thing is they filmed it in Autumn 2011 but didn't upload the video until a good seven or eight months later.
yes, hope no-one would, complete waste of money!
Exciting

I'm going away for over two weeks this Friday. I'm going to miss all the Australian Jedward action. Awful timing

Yes, that could be the reason too. Smart boys.

So, we know they're going to the Bump Show on Monday and now we have the exact time for their first Australian interview: https://twitter.com/kyleandjackieo/status/324476582079127553
7:10AM. of Monday in Australia is 10:10PM of Sunday in the U.K. and Ireland, so the good news is that we'll be able to listen live
That's Kyle Sandilands of Australian Idol and X Factor Australia fame
I know him from being 1 of the Australia's got talent judges. I really like him in the show, he's always funny and never mean to the contestants
He probably knows who the twins are already
https://twitter.com/spin1038Ryan/status/324635163030081536
When asked who did tell him about it, he said that the own twins did.
