The Apple store is "down" now.

Will be interesting to see what they bring to the table today.

Yeah I would be interested in a iPad Mini 2 to replace my iPad 2 if it gets an A7 and retina display at the same price point (£269) but i doubt it.

Expect some very big weight gains from a shrunken Ipad Retina battery.

That 9" 2560x1600 resolution Kindle FIre sets the standard.
At 374 grams thats the same as the 7" Hudl and far less than the light weight Nook HD+

Yeah the HDX is impressive hardware wise, it's a real pity it doesn't just run stock Android or I would be interested. It's also to expensive IMO.

At £330 its possibly what the Retina Mini will cost.
Until I realised all iPad sales had nosedived I was thinking £359 for the new Mini.

Only Apple have current sales data but maybe £359 will be for the big new Retina and £300 for the Retina Mini.

I think £330 would be too close to the price of the full size iPad... I guess we will see soon lol

I currently have an iPad 4.

Had a look at the Mini in PC World yesterday and depending on recycling/eBay pricing I may trade down to the smaller model.

Only an hour and a quarter to go!

If most sales are the Mini already then maybe the price gap has to close.

At least we can watch it live this time, I hate when they don't bother to stream it.

Looks good, I'm glad their was no price increase.

They actually made the battery smaller, unlike the rest of the industry.

Rather imprecise "November" for the new iPad Mini.

Why on earth would you choose a iPad 2 over a retina mini...
