Jrff Bridges OTT gurning is seriously annoying and spoils an otherwise entertaining movie.
A cross between Dead Like Me and MIB but not really as good as either of them.

Saw it today - a good "B" movie, I though. Not going to change the world, but it tells its story and doesn't outstay its welcome.

Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon are good and Jeff Bridges was, at least, comprehensible in this - unlike True Grit.

Saw this this afternoon.Pretty poor IMO.
I couldn't' understand a word Jeff Brigades said and didn't realise Kevin Bacon was in it.When he first appeared I thought they had thrown on the EE ad by accident and was expecting him to start a conga!
Nor quite bad enough to walk out of but definitely only one to watch with a Cineworld Unlimited card.

I enjoyed it. It's not as bad as some critics claim.

I gave RIPD a chance but it was pretty poor.I was quite disappointed as it could have been a lot better than the poor MIB copy that it is!

Does anyone know how loyal the film is to the comic?

I'm middle of the road about this film.

It was never going to be & it certainly is not a great film, but I don't think it's as bad as many have said it is.

It's fairly entertaining & funny and it doesn't go on for too long.

My only true gripe about is the overly soppy ending.
