"Ghost Estates" are housing estates that were built during the boom years but have not been completed...ie: if your house is complete and you are living in it but the road leading into the estate has not been completed ie: not tarmaced, then you don't have to pay.

are there many of them then, must be awful living on one think of the dust when its hot and mud when wet, dont think we have them here:mad:
we do have roads that are unadopted, like the council or the county dont own them, so residents either maintain them or just leave them, have got friends who have bought a bungalow that has been built along with 2 more and a house in the garden of a big house, the dustcart goes to big house but not the others so they have to put bin down the drive thats up to 300yrds

We have quite a lot where houses have not been finished and only a few houses have been sold on the estate. Only last month a little 2yr old boy died in one of these estate. He went looking for his dog and managed to get in the estate and fell into a hole full of water and drowned.

god that is awful,is no one held resonsible, his poor parents
Is it me or does anyone else think it is strange Josie has not tweeted in nearly three days
I do. Normally when she doesn't do direct tweets she does retweets, but there's been nothing at all. In her last set of tweets on Thursday she said she was waiting for Luke to come home, so maybe thats the reason.

Yes it was she tweeted that she was waiting for Luke to come so that might b why she has not tweeted as she had not seen him all week.

have been wondering about this myself xx
I have noticed that also, maybe she is busy settling into her new home, but she usually tweets at least once a day
OH so i am not the only one thinking its bit weird that Josie has not tweeted in nearly 3 days xx
Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
It is unusual for Josie not to tweet. Perhaps she's busy sorting her house out, wasn't she restoring furniture?
Evening everyone
she has moveda couple of times and still carried on tweeting
Very true Jacky. Perhaps she's busy doing the rounds of friends, or enjoying watching tv, or walking in the countryside, or painting
maybe her phone is kaput again xx

Possibly. Maybe she's just having a rest from it all bless her. My bet is catching up with friends
