    Evening!

Argh! What a day I've had! I had what I thought and was told was an interview this morning for a potential job. It turns out that the actual interview was only 5 minutes long but we had to spend 3 and a half hours in a room being told about the company who essentially cold-call people. They seem to think that I'd be successful and would progress to the second interview which is tomorrow. I don't think that I'm going to go. I know that if I got the job I would hate it. I don't want to sit in a room and be told to go away by people on the phone all day.

I got sent there by an agency who didn't even tell us what the job entailed, what the pay was, what the hours were etc.

I've handed in some CVs elsewhere, one of them being a hotel locally. Hopefully I'll hear back from those people at some point instead.

Glad to be home in my pajamas with dinner and a cup of tea at long last.

    Hope you're all well.

The thing is I know that I wouldn't be good at telesales. I haven't got the confidence for it. I'm just mad at the fact that they made out that it was going to be an hour and a half tops when it turned into nearly four! It wouldn't have been so bad if I had been driving there but my brother took me because he knew the location far better than I do and I didn't want to risk being late. I left the house feeling positive this morning and now I'm just pissed off. Pfft.

:D glad to be on here talking to you guys though. Tomorrow will be a better day!

Isn't PPI to do with loan insurance? I remember the ads on the TV in 2011. I once went into the Apple Store and left a PPI claim back website on the screen of a Mac by the One to One training table :D I was trying to tell those one to ones something :p

Payment protection insurance. A big con for companies and banks to get even more money out of you.

I remember the TV ads. "This is a very important announcement... have you taken out a loan, credit card or mortgage in the last 10 years?" Argh! I don't think they noticed. I was trying to tell them that claiming back their PPI was a better thing to do than the One to One sessions :p

I think it was all a scam. Those TV adverts were the worst. Almost as bad as the payday loan ones.

Who? The banks and loan sharks? :p I'm surprised there was never a PPI TV channel. If Ocean Finance could have one...

The payday loans are essentially legal (god knows how) loan sharks. They should be made illegal. They know that the people who take out those loans are incredibly unlikely to be able to pay it back so they put the interest up. :(

People lose their homes over these scams.

Anyone heard/bought Jake Bugg's new album? I didn't even know that it was out until I saw it in Asda the other day. I'm listening to it on Spotify at the moment. He's released a second album quite quickly, I wasn't expecting anything until early next year.

Thank god. I still get auto-mated phone messages though  I've never even taken out a loan.
