I emptied all of my bags out tonight through crap tv and boredom. The things I found in there were quite laughable, everything was total sh*te.

Everything you have is useful - I found a load of receipts from years ago. I am scared to remove anything cos I just know I will need it 2 days after getting rid of it. I have a problem with throwing things away.

Not very much because I have a relatively new bag so there hasn't been much time for clutter to accumulate. I'm trying to keep it tidy this time.

At the moment I've got keys, my purse, asthma inhaler, small packet of tissues, mirror, make up compact, lip gloss, paracetemol, a pencil case (for work; they've provided us with tonnes of stationary and nowhere to store it), a notepad, some documents for work, a bottle of water, perfume, and a sanitary pad (always keep one in the zipped pocket for emergencies - usually the "emergency" involves giving it to a friend!). I think that's it.

Nothing. I don't own a handbag. I use my pockets. It's what pockets are for.

I wish more of my clothes had pockets.

I seem to have, completely unintentionally, filled my wardrobe with mainly pocketless clothes.

    Tampons,
    nail file,
    notepad,
    pencils,
    diary,
    perfume,
    facewipes,
    dog treats,
    doggie crap bags,
    bottle of water,
broken glasses- leg broke off but kept "just in case".
    Gaviscon,
    tissues,
    secret ciggies and lighter
    tea bags,
    sunglasses,
    bobbles and hair clips,
    socks,
    business cards - not mine,
receipts - dating from the bronze age,
    hand cream,
    moisturiser,
    vaseline.
    earrings
    dog leash and collar
    torch,
    whistle,
    small tool set (WTF?)
loads of fluff covered unknown small things,
    plasters,
    nail clippers,
    tape measure.

The small tool set  is in a little nylon case with a zip about 15cm by 8cm - inside there are plyers, screwdriver with assorted heads, little ratchet/spanner set with the bits. Where that has came from I have no idea.

I have no idea how it all fits in my everyday bag. I'm just about to look in my little bag.

    More one leg glasses,
old bus tickets/receipts - dated from roman era this time,
    Italian Lira,
    dodgey looking toothbrush,
3 memory sticks - wondered where they had got to
    notepad,
    pencils,
    tampons,
    camera lens,
packet of crumbs - shortbread in a previous life?,
    ear phones,
    socks,
    tea bags,
    dog treats,
    packet of sweet pea seeds,
lump of rosin - many years since I picked up a fiddle,
    yoyo.
    light bulb,
    hair clips and bobbles,
    Usual unidentifiable fluffy things,
    toothpicks,
    camping salt and pepper set.

Dear gawd - what would an analyist make of the contents of my bags?

I love pockets. I always buy clothes which have them.

In my "pockets" I have my mobile phone. A set of keys not for my place. Old receipts and some loose change that adds up to less then £1.
