I'm after some screenshots of The Descent but can only find these

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Descent-Blu-ray/174/#Screenshots

There's only a few and they are water-marked.
Anyone know any resources?

Viewing them on my laptop, they don't look that sharp.

If you can't find any on the main sites, it's worth searching for the name of the film + blu ray on google images, in search tools specify images above 1024 x 768.

I love blu-rays but I'm not too good with the technical side of them but I think it all depends what screenshots view them on to make them look good. Is it all to do with pixels?
One site said something like they are only a representation of what should be viewed as a moving image, can't remember the exact wording.
I just like the fact you can get pictures straight from the film itself. I'd like to,do my own but I have no idea what to do, bit technicall.

Obviously taking a screenshot of really fast blurry movement isn't going to be very useful, but screenshots from progressive blu ray scenes are pretty much showing you what you will get. Many free players will let you play blu rays now to take screenshots, VLC, MPC-HC, XBMC.

I'll have to read up on how you do it.

Theres a few sites out there now iv'e had a proper look. i'm suprised there not more popular, obviously some images are better than others. Some from Indiana Jones look great because a lot has gone into making the blu-rays but some look poor like Gremlins which probably haven't been remastered or anything.
