I do occasionally. Bust a Move 2 for example I played last week. It might look dated, but the gameplay is as addictive as it was back in 1996 when the game was released.

Remake or no remake I will always play these !
SCES00001 - THE original PlayStation game
John Motson's comment after I went 4-0 up "looks like we're heading for a draw and possibly extra time":D
Loads.
Yes I rebought a PS2 just for the Final Fantasy games.
Micro Machines, Destruction Derby and Warzone 2100 get the occasional dust off too; Usually when my mate who I originally played them with comes round.
What a perfect thread for me and YES YES YES to the first game. ISS Pro formed the backbone of my childhood. Many an hour and many a game played. I could write an essay on ISS Pro so I shall stop now. Needless to say I loved it!
I have been going through a nostaliga phase recently and even purchased some PS1 games. I bought LMA Manager, Driver 1 and a sim manager game called 'FA Premier League Manager' which had a bug where you could buy Ronaldo from Inter for free and he'd still be at Inter, meaning you could buy loads of Ronaldos!
In addition to ISS Pro, GTA1 and Premier Manager 98 & 2000 also were part of my childhood. The completion of Driver 2 was (at the time) my greatest ever achievement
I still have a fair few games and will still play them. Many F1 games, FIFA's were purchased a few years ago as I never got the chance to play them. I even paid an eye-watering amount about 4 years ago to buy a game my cousin had, ESPN Extreme Games. My console, which I have had since 1999, is in its box now with the PS3 my central game hub.
I am a bit of a nostalgia-ist but I do enjoy looking back. The simplicity is what I like best. Games were simple, unassuming, and didn't have 1,000,000 extras or add-ons which you had to do.
Cracking game. Really really long too, it seems like it's going to end on several occassions and then carries on, some great characters too. It had a certain innocence about it in the beginning, before getting darker. Such a good game, I might even go back and start it myself.
I have a very vivid memory of reading a magazine back in the day. They were printing a guide for Grandia over a series of issues. When asked why they were spreading it out this way, they replied that it was because printing it in one issue would take up the entire magazine. I remember it blowing my young mind, the notion that a game could be that long.
The sequel was good, too, as I remember.
all great games and still as fun to play now as ever.
Yes, I think I remember that too, and boy did you need a guide for some sections. There were a lot of dungeons and that that were non-linear. I liked the battle system too, and the voice acting, whilst cheesy as hell, has stayed with me since then
