A sequel for Amazing Spider-man, several films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including sequels for the Capt. and Thor, Guiellmo Del Toro's Pacific Rim. Transformers 4 next year. Two more parts of The Hobbit. World War Z next week...

Off the top of my head, between now and then we have:

    Captain America 2
    World War Z
    White House Down
    Pacific Rim
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
    Anchorman 2
    Thor 2
    RoboCop remake
    Jack Ryan
    The 300 sequel
    Amazing Spider-Man 2
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
    Bond 24
    Transformers 4
    Ted 2
    X-Men: Days of Future Past
    The Wolverine
    Fast and Furious 7
    Hercules
    Expendables 3
    Hunger Games 2 (and 3?)
    The Hobbit 2 and 3

So we should be ok till Star Wars ;)

They're making a 'Ted 2'?! Jeez, that film got old after 20 minutes. How are they gonna suck a sequel out of that?

Universal said they wanted one. Seth McFarlane never actually comitted. He is instead working on his second film "A Million Ways To Die In The West" with himself, Sarah Silverman, Sean Connery, Charlize Theron and Liam Neeson...

Also, neither Anchorman nor Sin City is really a blockbuster, they're just sequels that are likely to do very well...

The big 'summer' movies of 2014 are expected to be: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Good Dinosaur, Hercules, Guardians of the Galaxy and sequels to Spiderman, Transformers, Fast Furious, Planet of the Apes and X-Men.

Only a couple have my interest.

OP, as you can see, the title of the thread is completely wrong, it should read "lots of blockbusters between now and 2015". ;)

There are a few I'm looking forward to next year especially...

HungerGames 2 is Catching Fire, out this November.

Then there's 3 and 4 - the last book, Mockingjay, is being split into 2 parts, as it seems is the trend for book series adaptations now...

Part 1 is to be released November 2014 and Part 2 November 2015, and that's guaranteed as they're shooting both parts back to back from this September.

Oh, come on. There's worse crimes than naivety.

Full 2014 US schedule (subject to change). Ours will be vaguely similar, presumably.

    http://boxofficemojo.com/schedule/?view=bydate&release=theatrical&yr=2014&p=.htm

Surprised to see the much touted Guardians of the Galaxy up for August. Cutting it a bit fine, aren't they.

    And Finding Dory.

Disney is going to absolutely own 2015; with Avengers, Pirates, Star Wars and Nemo, they have the potential to have four films gross a billion dollars!

Worst OP I've read for a while, blimey, even Pacific Rim is out in less than a month and apparently some cinemas are reinforcing their concrete walls in preparation for it*

They'll need to make the money considering all the properties they've been buying.

    *may not be true

Seemed like an odd choice to me. But that was the cast list Sarah Silverman gave on the Doug Benson podcast she did with Zack Galifanakis from the Hangover...
