i cried at the end
wow didn't know that was her real granddaughter
Terence Stamp is marvellous and Vanessa Redgrave played her part very convincingly.
Nothing original or special, quite dull and flat.
Well considering it was about a dying woman .... what did you expect ...... ?
I thought it was sensitive, funny in places, poignant and moving.
What did I expect?
I expected it to be sensitive, funny in places, poignant and moving.
It wasn't any of those things.
Why is it so hilarious for pensioners to sing sexy songs? I find it a bit patronising.
Lead actors excellent, others poor.
Story predictable. Why should we all be delighted that Arthur joined the choir? Why is it so hard to understand that some people aren't joiners, and are happier on their own than with a bunch of dimwits?
Not my thing, really. I shouldn't have gone to see it, but like Arthur I was sort of emotionally blackmailed into it by some well meaning friends.:)
