Does a watched video via the internet stay on your computer?

Stupid question but I just wondered.
I was watching an instructional video from www.videojug.com (about how to fix a dripping tap) - and wondered if having watched it - it is still on my computer. (I'm no plumber but was hoping to have a go at fixing the tap).
I'm not really 'into' computers either - hence my question.

I was wondering the same thing about YouTube etc.
I am guessing there are temporary files and are cleared when you delete the browsing history from Internet Explorer or Clear Private Data using Firefox.

I suspect jugs were involved but not sure about the rest. ;)
Neither do dripping taps.

Video files are.
Its not as clear cut as video or not. You can still stream video of the internet. When its streamed thats when its not save on your pc. If you watch something on the bbc player, thats a video but only streamed.
Dave
does that mean if you find an old video now, it will still be stored? like starwars kid for example
However, it will be cleared when you leave the page, so it's not an issue.
You should already have a hard-copy of Star Wars Kid anyway!
Seriously, I'm not sure. AFAIK all vids are ported across to v.9 and therefore are not stored on your machine. I may be wrong but this is what it would seem.

Well with the mess I've made I probably should have done!
I am of course talking about WATER everywhere.
Thanks. So if I want to find it what file extension (presumably i search on that) would I look for?
That depends on what video you viewed. Go the original file on the said site and look at the filename and extension - search for that.
A quicker and more convenient way would be to clear your temp internet files or cache depending on your browser.
Dave
No problem.
If in doubt, use ccleaner - that will get rid of it provided you browser/media player is supported.

Unlocker! is here http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
flvplayer is here http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html
This also works for Youtube videos but if you're using Firefox there's probably an extension to let you save Youtube videos.
Either use the direct download option on the webpage, or install the Ffx extension below that.
My tap is fixed -without the need for me to relook at the video.
Now where were all those dodgy videos...
