Hi my mate has a 37 inch Sony Bravia tv which has been damaged, the screen now has a black patch at the bottom and random colours accumulated all over, the casing has small amounts of damage, does this sound repairable? Thanks

It's likely to cost a similar amount to a new TV, even without repairing the cosmetic damage.
If you post the model number of the TV, I can give you an accurate price.
totally agree with this post.. I found a large samsung tv a few months ago on the side of the road with a broken screen, but still working, stripped it for parts sold the whole lot for £36.. 15 mins of stripping 5 mins ebay post not bad for 20 mins of work
Still waiting for a reply on Facebook but not surprised we have both been on lates, he seems to think its an led from about 18 months ago which I think would make it something like a kdl 37 ex 723 or similar.
I have told him he needs to sell for spares, lots of useful bits and pieces in there
Kn*wh*w, so what the !&^%% is that!
