Nobs in The Cinema
Why oh why do people pay an entry fee then constantly talk, munch loudly or generally just fanny about through the film? Me and the missus go every week any probably 50% of our visits are spoilt by idiots.
Last night one bloke went through 2 of them massive bags of popcorn that cineworld sell and just made a point of making even more noise when anyone gave him a glance or a shush, he was constantly talking in a booming voice to his girlfriend with random crap like whos that bloke. I hope all the popcorn expanded and he was in riving agony all night.
The bloke in front of me just spent most of the film tweeting about it with his Samsung Galaxy Surfboard screen on full blast blinding everyone behind him.
They should have a screen labelled just for the nobs and shove them in there.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - Ruined by a couple of dozen 'youths' who weren't interested in the film, and made a racket throughout.
Skyfall - Ruined by several disabled people sitting in front and to the side of me who made a racket throughout the film. Fair enough, they couldn't help doing what they doing, but I wish they hadn't been there when I was there.
if people do that, then get up out of your seat and go and tell the staff, this behaviour will not be stopped unless we notify the cinema staff
I still believe they should have an usher (obviously not one for every screen) whose job it is to visit each screen while films are playing and sit quietly at the back for 15 minutes to observe the audience.
I used to go on a weekly visit for many years (and paid an annual fee for a season ticket) however the audiences got rowdier and less well behaved. I haven't been to the cinema now for nearly five years, preferring to wait for the DVD.
I think you just have to accept it's an open environment and your individual preferances/tolerance (noise levels - eating & talking) are subjective.
You always have the option of either going on a quiet day like a Sunday or simply waiting for the DVD or online stream.
Oooh. You meant idiots!!!!!
Just as the film was starting (we had a quiet hall...at first) a playscheme arrived. Fair enough you think, its a kids movie after all. But there was about 4 adults and 20 kids, they all sat down the front. Problem was, they were all babies and very young toddlers. Too young to sit through a 25 minute cartoon let alone a 90 minute movie. To make matters worse, the adults kept talking pics of the kids during the film, even using the flash. They also kept losing kids and then doing a very loud headcount every 5 minutes.
All you could hear for the whole movie was crying and wailing. My head was sore by the end.
This just doesn't happen, sadly. I think there were about three people on site at VUE in Leeds last week. But what's badly needed is some proper security on site. I can't count the times I've had people on phones, talking, fighting, shouting, or even using their mobiles...
And, if anything, it's getting worse!
It's bliss.
Surely taking a playscheme full of babies and very young toddlers to the cinema is a very bad idea? Anyone with a modicum of common sense should realise that, let alone taking photos of the kids using flash and doing very loud headcounts every five minutes on account of losing kids.
Considering you paid nearly £10 each for the three of you, that's just terrible to have your experience ruined like that. If I had been at that screening, I probably would have complained to the manager as that's just not on.
:eek::D:D:D
this is what happend to me aswell..
a group of girls and a guy they looked 17/18 same age as me, kept nattering away and even started chatting to me
i just responded with "yeah yeah yeah" whilst nodding my head.
But I never understand why someone would pay a ticket just to chat and look at their phone throughout the whole film - it happens quite often on busy screenings and it puzzles me.
I went to see man of steel, last month, and towards the end of the film, some idiot started singing I believe I can fly by R Kelly ruining the film for me and many others.
I complained and got two free tickets to see another film, but I don't think I will bother.
Yes I laughed after, I do have a sense of humour . it took time to come though:p

Brilliant. :D:D:D
toilet of shame :D
I can't imagine that always working. Why not eat something flatulence-inducing, just prior to the event, then blow off repeatedly?:D
