When Ruby was born everything was ok with Tyrone and Kirsty she had her bat crap moments but no one knew. So how come none of the street seems to think its a bit strange that Kirsty didnt put Tyrones name on the birth certificate???
Do any of the street, apart from those close to Tyrone, know that his name isn't on the birth certificate? Why would they? People don't go round telling everyone whose names are on it in real life - bit the this is soapland.........

I did think that Fiz and Tina might be shouting the sly trick that Kirsty pulled with the birth certificate from the rooftops to back up Ty's case but then the penny dropped with me that perhaps they realise that Kirsty could use his lack of acknowledgement to her own advantage, saying that she only did it because Tyrone was so violent she felt she needed (or might in the future need) to protect her daughter from him. Could actually give more credence to her story. And daft people like Julie would swallow her lies whole
Re the Platts. Well, as amusing as I'm finding Gail it's a bit silly isn't it? There's no way a sale could go through in such a short period of time (and like has already been mentioned on here no one is forcing Gail to sell to them anyway!) so if no sale has gone through what on earth is she on about saying the faulty boiler is David and Kylie's responsibility? What the hell is she doing moving into the 'box room' already and so on. This storyline has more holes than a fishing net!

Didnt Tina blurt it out during one of their many fights in the pub and street to anyone who would listen ??...Think Kevin knows as well.
I always had a feeling at the back of my mind that the baby wasn't Ty's anyway.
I think they got together rather quickly and for me, they just din't go together in a strange way.She always seemed a lot older and wiser than Ty.
Kirsty is a head worker and maybe she has thought ahead like others have said.
I just hope it comes to a conclusion soon, I'm fed up with it now especially the high and mighty Julie and also Eileen.
Gail didn't want to sell the house to David & Kylie, ok she had money problems but surely she would have had an option to put it on the open market. No one put a gun to her head to make her sign the contract (if it has been done already) if she didn't want to do it, she didn't HAVE to................
So long as david and kylie are paying the market price, the only difference is that gail doesn't have to pay estate agents' fees. And if she sold on the open market, she'd have no 'moral' right to become a lodger.
One assumes they each have their own solicitors to do the paperwork, searches, etc. The result of a search on gail's holding (if that's the right word) would certainly be interesting.
Well it'd be nice if these sentiments were actually articulated in future, rather than just "Faye needs a slap" and "Anna is a dysfunctional mother", which have nothing to do with realism at all.
I find this post rude in the extreme. What does it matter if someone wants to share their feelings about a character. Your reaction is a bit over the top I would say.
Jenna asked Lloyd if he'd take her to her place to collect her stuff in a taxi.
Unless I am mistaken, doesn't Jenna live in quite a big house. It was certainly Jenna's house when we were introduced to her and Mandy when they were first on screen.
Aren't all casinos legally obliged to have a blacklist for addicts etc? (I know this is the law in the US but I'm not sure about the UK)
Granted, Sylvia may have to be properly diagnosed and have to volunteer to be blacklisted herself, but it's odd that the casino manager didn't mention such a scheme as I imagine he'd be legally obligated to do so in such circumstances.

They're more than entitled to share their thoughts on a character, as long as those thoughts are related to the thread's theme - suspension of reality in Corrie. Those posts were not related to that theme and were random musings. They belong elsewhere.
Why would Ken and Dennis randomly get involved in Roy and Sylvia's scheme?
Why does Faye still have a social worker when Ana is her legal guardian?
Where was Izzy's wheelchair when she was sitting in the Rovers?
How long was Tina visiting Tyrone for? The rest of the storylines seemed to stretch across hours whilst the pair of them were debating the rights and wrongs of dumping Fizz.
And I'm only eight minutes into the second episode

It's magic ... it's there, then it's not. It goes up slopes, through teeny doorways, over cobbles, down jitties ... there's just no wheelchair like it in the world.

and a reminder that the actress is disabled:
Cherylee, 35, has been in a wheelchair since she was 23 after being diagnosed with the rare tissue disorder, Ehlers Danlos Type III hypermobility type.
Jenna asked Lloyd if he'd take her to her place to collect her stuff in a taxi.

She's not going to fit much in a taxi.
Very good point well remembered! Unless she was renting it fully furnished, but it does seem weird nonetheless!

so the wheelchair is wherever she left it.
But Izzy and the actress are two different kettles of fish.

Didn't Mandy say she had given up the house when she decided to return to wherever? Then Lloyd persuaded her to stay and she moved in with him.
Anyway, Jenna's move to Lloyd's means she can spend more time with the teenage banshee.

Mandy moved from Nottingham to stay temporarily with Jenna and when they argued Mandy was moving back. Lloyd persauded her to move in with him.
Jenna certainly had her own home, and I even think she owned it, but that is now conveniently forgotten about so that she could move onto t'Street. No doubt that she had lost her job she will soon be penniless as no one sells their homes, they just move out.

That's what I remember too. I would have thought she'd require more than a taxi to get her stuff. Maybe she is going to clear the house in due course.

Click on "Thread Tools" - top right of any page near the page number - and you can set it up there.:)
Sorry, I answered the query before seeing you'd already done so.
Funny thing though - on this new version of the thread I'm not getting notifications despite having subscribed. Odd.

Thank you both I have now done it
Anyway, will let you all get back on topic now

I'm not meaning to be rude

From his maxed out credit card. Or was that Max's credit card? Nowt would surprise me.

Reding ewoodie's post below, maybe it wasn't her house after all. I could have sworn Mandy was staying with Jenna though.
You could be right.
Yes and Max will also be paying for the mortgage!
Didn't Audrey give them a wad of cash? Why not pay it out of that?
Well, the latter is certainly true.
Sophie Webster's script from now on:
Jennurhh!
and repeat.
