wow - I have NEVER spent money like that on myself. I wish i earnt enough money to be able to afford stuff like that.
Im currently agonising over spending £35 on a pair of boots for work.
None of those items are particularly expensive (in my opinion, anyway) when I consider how many times they'll be worn. I've recently started my first full-time graduate job, so am having to invest in decent work clothes, which I don't mind doing considering how much of my life is now spent at work. I don't usually buy many clothes at all, generally only a couple of items per month.
A lot of my new colleagues are high earners, and a fair few of them wear 'designer' clothes and shoes, so I'm cheap compared to them. There a couple of extremely impressive Christian Louboutin collections in the office
I don't earn lots of money, and I certainly don't live an extravagant lifestyle!

I wasn't dissing you at all. I admire the fact that you can spend that sort of money. I really wish i could.
I have always felt guilt at spending money on me. I was thinking today that i have to get a new work skirt. I bought two skirts in Peacocks (they were £14 each) over 2 yrs ago. they are identical, and i have worn them for work every single day since.
They are starting to look a mess now though as they have been worn / washed too many times. But the thought of buying a new one fills me with fear.
I have one pair of summer shoes for work, one pair of winter shoes. I have 5 tops for work that have been bought from ASOS, and i wear them until they fall off me and then buy a few more.
I really have never felt a passion for clothes, and i admire others who have. I would love to look / feel good in well made clothing .... but i dont.
I bought some boots last night from the Marisota catalogue. Leather knee length ones. The ones that were cheaper were too small on the calf (always a problem) so i had to spend more money to get a pair that would fit.

Ooh, I've just commented on your wellies question in another thread, thought that was odd that I've heard the word Marisota for the first time today, then heard it again (should that read, read it again!)
Dont you just love getting money off. When i bought my boots (see post above) i had been send a 20% off code, which makes them even nicer.
Love it! It's mostly the free delivery codes that I love to find, because that really puts me off buying things online, especially when it's something cheap, which with a normal delivery price of say a fiver, would be double the item price.
A black party dress from Debenhams and also a black woolly cap and checked shirt from there. Bought a blue zip up hoodie from M&S as well which I'm wearing now.

I'm the same. Sometimes you see something on sale, but with the delivery price on top it can sometimes come out near the before sale price, and sometimes it's just not worth the price of delivery on top. I end up trekking down the shop and not finding it anyways which also sucks haha.
I just bought a pair of jeans from asda, straight cut and dark blue. Also 2 bras, I wore my others to death, and matching knickers for one, oh and slippers...also from asda.

I really like that. You have good taste.
Thanks, but she chose it, I just slyly ordered it!
The second dress in particular is lovely.
I've been on a bit of a spree this week. I've bought this, this in purple and black (which I'll wear all the time for work, no doubt) and these
I'm probably sorted until christmas as far as work clothes go now.
I do like Converse shoes. I want a pair of dark blue ones cos I am a guy...
I ordered the first one myself a couple of days back. It's a lovely work dress.
This cardigan
