He's no joe mcelderry to finish the sentence
I don't know why Louis Walsh is nasty to joe mcelderry
jackbell louis walsh has cross the line
I suppose James Arthur has got that singer songwriter thing going on, but so did Matt Cardle, so let's not be over confident & see how things turn out for him... Not that Matt is doing terribily bad, but I think that things did not turn out the way people had thought they would when he won.
When/if James underperforms, Louis will already have moved onto overhyping the next XF winner.
joe did not set the charts alight, but louis and james are very nasty to joe and i know he is not a karaoke singer.
What makes James a non-karaoke singer compared to Joe? As far as I can see, they've both come through the exact same show singing other people's songs, both released a cover song as their first single... and that's about as far as we're got in James's popstar narrative. So at the moment he is basically wrong in saying that James isn't just another karaoke singer, because until he releases some original material, that's precisely what he is. No worse than Joe, maybe, but definitely no better at the moment.
Joe is doing well and he seems very happy. He has a few hit albums under his belt which transcends hit singles.
Tell me this: who IS setting the charts alight from the X Factor?
little mix jackbell and i think louis and james are talking about joe's singing voice saying joe is a karaoke singer and i know joe is not a karaoke singer he has a big singing voice

no you are missing the point james said it in another article somewhere and louis walsh add fuel to the fire saying he agree with james did you get that troy ?
I was talking about winners of the X Factor really.
I've often said you're better off not winning the show as you can make your own way, not encumbered by the media glare ready that is always so ready to pounce as soon as you have your first flop record.
Joe transcends pop singles (as I've said). He has a few top ten albums under his belt. It still doesn't mean to say he is karaoke. I'm disappointed in Louis' comments.
i think james might have said he's no karaoke singer but i know he not but james is not likeable but louis walsh cross the line saying he is not just another karaoke singer He's no joe mcelderry
so am i
its just a shame that impressive album sales don't seem to be his forte either.:o 4 album releases and his total album sales are still hovering around the half a million mark. louis was out of order with his comments, because as much as i don't rate joe as an artist, he can obviously sing well. however, the fact remains, joe could hardly be described as a consistent successful album artist.
if we are looking at the winners exclusively, leona, shayne, alex have all sold more albums than him and all with less releases too. little mix and matt`s debut albums also outperformed any album that joe has released.
You will always find fault if you are determined to look for it. All I know is Joe was dumped faster by SyCo than any other X Factor winner - and they've all been dumped up to Little Mix (bar Leona) so he's in good company there.
However he got back on the horse and carved out a new singing career from nothing. Give him the credit he deserves. He is yet to go on a skating contest just to get his face on the telly again.
To go from the fasted dumped X Factor winner to three further hit albums is pretty good going. But you carry on looking at the sales figures if it helps.
Joe is doing okay and seems very happy.
gavin martin, in the article you are refering to, only louis was quoted as saying nasty stuff... so it is very unfair to drag james arthur into this particular incident and allege he was also "saying nasty..." about joe!!
if you think james arthur said something about joe, why not link that as well so we can all see if he indeed did...
i will do thanks, because the sales figures quite clearly indicate that you and i have very different ideas on what "hit albums" actually are.;) you said he "transcends pop singles", your words and i can only assume you were suggesting that his album sales makes up for that, which they clearly do not.
i give him credit in terms of his voice in my post. if i were to give him credit for being a successful recording artist, i wouldn't be commenting truthfully, so forgive me for not exaggerating.:)
But Louis has always been like this. He seems to have grudges against certain contestants for no apparent reason and often launches into tirades like this now and again. Joe is not the only one to be subjected to comments like this by Louis. But I would say that I disagree with those that are saying that Joe is still a "success". No he didn't "go on a skating contest just to get his face on the telly again", but he did go on Popstar to Operastar, a different TV show to "get his face on the telly again".
I do find it rather dubious that he went on that show, then suddenly recorded a classical album to cash in on that, so Joe is no different to any of the other "failed" reality TV contestants in that respect. He hasn't really worked his way back up to anything much at all really. It should also be noted that his second album sold well following his appearance on that show, but his 3rd album has done nowhere near as well, so it doesn't look like he achieved any lasting success.
