Have held off upgrading and wonder what people's experiences are with the upgrade. Have always had some problems with dropped wifi and am nervous of making that worse. Feedback would be appreciated.

PJ.
I regret updating to iOS 6 because those were two my favourite apps.
I don't miss the YouTube app which was no better than the web version, and the iPhone YT app from Google is better due to the fact that not so many videos are restricted.
In maps they've started correcting a few things and added road numbers. Still a way to catch up with Google maps though.
My opinions of cause.
Me too... I loved youtube, and all my favourite videos are gone now. Should i download Jasmine ?

make a note of your route home first though
Jasmine is great, well worth having.
I also had to restore to factory settings on my iPad 3rdGen but 6.0.1 eventually installed.
I've never had so many complaints about an OS on any platform (relatively, based on installed base).
Doesn't 6.0.1 supposedly fix that?it was in the list of bug fixes.
Never had the problem myself, though, with iOS6... I use WPA2 at home without issue with my iOS6 iPad and iPhone.
That was fixed in 6.0.1, but still see some are reporting problems.
Not had or seen anyone with this problem Myself.
I bought this up for discussion at an app meeting yesterday and noone had seen it.
It was mentioned that it seemed to be more of a problem with the the iPhone 4s,5 and iPod touch wifi on encypted networks rather than iPads.
6.1 is now in beta, so expect another update soon.
Yeah, I immediately contacted some clients when 6.0.1 came out and asked them to update. Some are still having issues, though, so I wouldn't call it a solid fix.
Also the new stores are bad too. Slow.
