Well I think the games can only get more competitive from here on! Some right one sided drubbings so far tonight!

Sad to see Stompe play like that. Very comfortable for Nicho.

Well done to nicho especially with crowd booing his shots at the double, co wasn't at the races tonight which was disappointing but happy for the Asset

Obvious song choice for Gino Vos - I like it! :D

Lewis looked apprehensive to me on that walk-on.

The hostile crowd reception might have had something to do with it though.

Interested to see what this Gino Vos has got to offer.

Quite a lot judging from these opening two legs :D

And he's got the crowd on his side as well.

Who would've thought that Lewis would begin a first round match in atrocious fashion?

Rank bad start from Lewis here, he wouldn't have won a leg in the prelim match playing like this!

    This lad looks handy.

And Adrian Lewis seems to get bigger each time I see him.

Gino takes the first set, does not look phased at all

I must say that he's never seemed the most confident. Barney may be the nicest guy on the tour buy when he gets ready for his walkon he does the part.
Nicho also look like he's ready for business.

Can't really remember Lewis showing bravado like that.

What on earth was that from Lewis?

Going for single 1 to leave D4 and hitting T18?!

Just when you think Lewis is beginning to go through the gears he goes and does something like that.

Lewis's only saving grace is that Vos has been abject since he took the first set.

Lewis levels at 1-1 - but that was more down to Vos's slump that any great improvement in his performance.

Was kind of hoping Adie would have picked his game up from the rest of the year coming back to his favourite venue.......obviously not!

Making a pigs ear of this match so far.

He's going to have to buck his ideas up if he wants to become the first 3x champ (from 1st win) like he said in the promo.

Is that 108 finish from Lewis a sign that he might be picking his game up?

Big leg this, and neither player is really grasping it.

Two set darts missed by Vos, would've been interesting if he'd nailed it...

    Lewis' doubling is shocking

Mind you, he pulled that set out!

    Lewis goes 2-1 up!

Again it's only because Vos let him off by missing darts to win the set in the previous leg and going to pieces in that decider.

Think that's that for Gino unfortunately, had to win that set imo

Should be ok now the world champ, but what a palaver he's making of it!

Lucky for Adie he's got a reasonably easy round 2 draw, be surprised if Ovens gives him much trouble.

POD, Baxter or Sir Dennis in the last 16 on the other hand could be a real banana skin unless he bucks his ideas up.

    Lewis is a mess
But we all know what happened last year ;)

Why do some in the crowd buy tickets only to turn their backs on the matches and chant at people in the crowd
    Idiots
