Am I the only person on earth who loves The Red Shoes album? I think it's absolute quality.

I'm a fan of The Red Shoes too, particularly Moments Of Pleasure. They show The Line, The Cross and The Curve on sat tv every now and again, which I always think of as a companion piece to the album.

as a stand alone album the red shoes is fantastic...its only when you compare it to the likes of the dreaming that it seems less inspired somehow.
kate has been quoted as saying she was largely disappointed with the line, the cross and the curve as it felt rushed....again, i loved it......wonder what masterpiece she would have bestowed on us given more time:)

There was always a rumour that Kate was going to make a short film of The Ninth Wave, that would have been amazing too.

I'm a big KB fan. Always kind of liked her and then I heard The Dreaming album - it blew me away more than Never For Ever or The Kick Inside (I wasn't really a fan of Lionheart until much later).

    Love Kate.

The Kick Inside is probably one of my top three albums ever.

'Feel It' is my personal favourite Kate song.

I'm with you on this one. The Kick Inside is a permanent fixture on my MP3. The songs are beautiful, especially the title track and the classic Wuthering Heights. I'm sure I read somewhere that she wrote most of the those songs when she was around 14 or 15 years of age.

Oh wow - a Kate Bush thread - I'm going to have to settle down with a coffee and read it from the beginning.

Have we talked about the Western Magical Tradition yet??:)
