Connecting Panasonic TX-P42G10B to BT HomeHub Mk2

A friend has a Panasconic TX-P42G10B TV which has an ethernet connector but no wi-fi access. He wants to connect the TV to his BT HomeHub Mk2. It is not practical to run an ethernet cable between the TV and HH and neither does he want to use homeplugs.

I believe there are devices that can act as a "bridge" ie talk to the HH via wi-fi and convert the signal so that it can be handled by the ethernet cable into the TV.

Can someone please advise what these devices are called so that he can buy one.

You want a Wireless Access Point.

Before your friend splashes out on anything to connect his Pannasonic up, perhaps you should ask him first why he wants to connect his TV to his router.

If it's for Freesat iPlayer then fair enough, as that's all its got.
