She is also doing OA/OS which she has been one of the only artists to have benefitted from. Price Tag went number one that way. It is out in the UK tomorrow and everywhere else Monday.
The song screams summer. It isn't that original, but for a summer anthem, it works.

Dr. Luke signed Ammo to his production team.
Never knew that. Thx for the info.

No doubt it will be a hit, her management deal with Capital will make sure it gets hammered on the radio.
There's no way this is going to #1. How on earth do you expect it to outsell Blurred Lines?
I think she's going to do like she did with her first album where the lead single is an urban song and then she follows up with a poppier song.
Shame for Jessie, as she would have had a much better chance of number 1 if it was being released next week, and THEN she could have performed it on the voice that weekend for more promo! Deserves to be at the top too!
I don't know. She released 5 singles in 2011, and none of them were dance-pop, which was quite impressive, since that was such a dance-pop dominated year.
Of course, she then released Domino and LaserLight, which were extremely generic, but I'll just pretend those didn't happen and this is her 6th single.
The album was dated because the majority of the songs were written between 4 and 6 years prior to release. She was supposed to have an album out before then with most of those songs, but the label went bust, so she transferred the, over to the new project.
