I'm sure this question has been asked around a million times already :
should I play on my 30" tv (1366x768)
or Monitor 30" (2560x1600)
Tv is around 5 years old, and monitor is a Dell ips.
The reason I'm asking is because I don't know what the picture will look like (if it'll be stretched) on the monitor, and also because the monitor is an ips.

But your case is interesting because your TV and monitor are both exactly the same size. Also your TV only supports the HD ready resolution (1080i/720P). Whilst on a current gen console this would not matter so much, I would hope that the majority of games (should be all except indies IMHO) would support full HD 1080P display on PS4, which your TV doesn't support. You could still display the PS4 on it fine but wouldn't be getting all the detail available. Your monitor is then I think the better choice as it supports resolutions beyond 1080P but should have no problem scaling up the 1080P image from the PS4 with minimal distortion. Also it being IPS is a benefit, IPS is the higher quality screen type, the lower quality being TN, which still isn't bad but does suffer from narrow viewing angles, which might be a problem if you have multiple people around the same screen.
But, the only way to truly know is try the console on each display and see which one looks better to you as ultimately we all have different preferences and it is you who is going to be using it so it has to look good to you.
For the other person that mentioned 1080i/720p HD ready resolutions, just to note, HD Ready TVs can't display 1080i as they don't have enough pixels to do so.
1080i has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. How do you get that to fit a 1280 x 720 screen? Obviously you can't. All HD Ready TVs can input at 1080i but then that is totally different to outputting.
