Changing Orange Plan - Will I Lose my Line Rental Discounts?

Here's the thing, I have 2 line rental discounts of £10 on my Orange pay monthly account (one brings my £36 a month down to £26 a month and the other one counteracts a £10 a month extra data bundle charge) so £46 total down to £26... They weren't loyalty discounts they were given to me recently for other reasons mid-contract.
What I want to know is if I change my plan via 'your account' will I still keep these discounts or will I lose them? I have conflicting information from Orange and other sources so i'm just wondering if anyone on here knows for sure?
For example if I change to the £41 tariff seen here on my account plan change page http://i.imgur.com/G4rl9Gv.jpg?1 will I still have my 2 £10 discounts (making it £31 a month and keeping my other £10 discount as well to counteract the charge for the other £10 data bundle) so all I pay is £31 and keep my 'free' data bundle, or will I loose them and end up paying the £41 a month + start paying for the £10 extra data bundle making it £51 a month!?
If anybody knows for sure or can find out for sure from Orange that would be greatly appreciated. I would just try it but I do not want to risk loosing £20 every month in discounts!!

Thanks Is that pretty much guaranteed? Is there any reason why I would lose them? And if I did would I be able to get them back?
Okay thanks! So if I go from my Panther 36 to The Works 41 or 46 that will be compatible and I will keep my discounts right? Also does it make a difference if i do it online or via cs on 150?
The do say tariff and not plan.

Okay I'll probably change my plan via 150 and ask at the same time, just wanna make sure I don't loose my 2 £10 bill credits/line rental discounts. They should be able to tell me but the people in those call centres often have no idea what they are talking about from my experience so will have to see how that goes haha!

When I changed my plan a few months ago my discounts all stayed. Not the case on Vodafone though!
What were you on and what did you change to?
An old Dolphin 35 to The Works 36.
It retained my £5 discount and my 10% discount. I did it over the phone.
Ah thanks apparently CS keep telling me I have a 40% discount on my account as well but I don't as I don't get 40% off and it doesnt show on my bill... However multiple agents keep telling me so there must be something they are seeing on the account... How did you know you had a 10% discount, does it say on your bill or anything?
Yeah it shows on the bill and I agreed it when taking out the contract.
Even if the discount does come off I'm sure you'd have good grounds to complain if the advisor specifically said the discount would stay. Not sure if Orange record the calls, I know O2 do and can listen back to them easily.
Ah okay thanks, so on your bill under discounts and extras it says "40% discount" then another one saying "£5 line rental discount" on another line? (Obviously it wouldn't say £5 it would say wherever it is without vat).
