Technically everyone can sing but based on that video, you're not very good. It could just be the filter that's on top of your voice though, the quality is distorted.
No offense, the quality of the recording wasn't the best and it was hard to hear what you were singing. Based on what I heard, I'd say you are good. You'd need to upload a better quality song to know either way
Thank you for the that this is the first time I have posted my singing, I've always enjoyed but I thought I couldn't sing I had sung to my friends and family who have said I'm good but I just didn't believe them but I really appreciate the comments.
Good choice of song anyway. Well, good luck to you. There are many of us that can't sing and wish we could. So I envy anyone that can - it's a gift, so don't waste it.
Have you tried any of the karaoke bars? Worth thinking about to get some live experience? Just a thought.
Yes you can sing! My advice would be to keep practicing and perhaps go for singing lessons. Pretty sure there are some helpful tips online and videos on youtube you could start off with, if you wanted to. It's not just about improving but I think it's also about making the most of the voice you have.
Firstly it's incredibly brave posting something that is so easy to criticize. Personally, I don't think you need a magnificent singing voice just one with character. You can certainly hold a note which is more than I can do but I think you need to develop a more unique voice.
If i'm being totally honest you sound pretty generic to me. That's in no way a bad thing if you can write your own tunes that bring your own character out but I fear that you may get lost in the crowd otherwise.
You can sing though. Whilst I didn't sit up and think "wow" you certainly have potential.
If you have to ask if you can sing, you know you may not make the cut. Singing is a true gift - something you are born with. Yes, you can learn, but only to an extent. A gift is a gift.
I liked it. You sounded hesitant on some notes but I liked your style (I feel like Simon Cowell here lol). But yeah, you're good and you're still really young so will improve if you stick at it.
It started off well, but when it came to the chorus you started flat and then sounded a little breathless throughout, especially on the high-notes. I really like that track, but it's probably not the best song to sing for a new vocalist. The way Pink sings it is a a lesson on how to control your voice over a variety of notes and pitches.
On the evidence of that, I think you're like most of us; No, you're not tone death and yes, you can sing. But you're not really good enough to be "a singer". It's perfectly fine for karaoke though.
I'm very shy and anxious so I don't know if I would have the courage to do that and I've just turned 17 so I don't know if I can go to karaoke bars
You can sing but if you suffer from shyness and nerves the best thing is to get out there on the karaoke circuit as soon as possible. The sooner you face that demon, the better. Once you've sang a couple of times in public, the nerves will calm down.
As to being 17, I think you can still enter legally. I'm not 100% sure but I think you are allowed in a pub up until a certain time with someone who is a certain age?? Maybe other people can correct me on this but if you are with a family member it's ok?

Actually, you sound quite good at some points but I think you'd benefit from singing lessons.
Please disregard anyone that replies with just a 'no'.
I don't recognise the song but if you wrote that yourself I'm impressed.
Oops.

Good luck again, anyway.

That made me laugh, it was like a Simon Cowell put-down!
Auditionee: "I know I can sing!"
Simon: "Yes, you can sing...badly!".
