The fact that it has a roller coaster makes me wonder if Crazy Stupid Love is going to be the lead single.

Though that's not due to be released for a few weeks yet so possibly not.

Edit: ok just thought they probably started designing it way before the premiere of CSL haha.

Crazy Stupid Love will be saved for NOW 89 as it's released on the same day as NOW 88.

That's not going to happen - Clean Bandit's on Warner Music, and they don't like their music being on compilation albums. :(

Not necessarily. There do allow their songs to be featured, but I think it depends on the artist. Ed Sheeran, Flo Rida, Shooshe, Marina and the Diamonds, Eliza Doolittle are some recent examples of Warner acts being featured.

I think that the reason songs from the Warner label never appeared on NOW 87 is probably due to them trying to re-launch The Hits series with Top Hits but that bombed

^ They advertised that well (I literally never knew of its existence until I read your post).

I didn't know anything about it until weeks later either :D I think it was download only. They need to face the fact that no other compilation will ever reach the heights of the Now series, so stop trying and just work together so we, the people who buy this stuff, can enjoy a fantastic compilation without ommisions!

It was download only. It only got to #16 on the UK Compilation Chart. Seeing as their attempt at a comeback was a flop, they should just learn to work with NOW and allow their songs to appear on NOW 88.

Is that 88? Or is it another theme complication

How many do they release a year nowadays? Always used to be 2 a year at the start of the run IIRC.

^ It's three a year, like it has been since 1992. (It used to be two a year, except for 1983 (1), 1984, 1988 and 1989 (3 in each of those years).)

It was always 3 a year to start off with, then it got reduced to 2 a year when The Hits series came along, then it went back to 3 a year when The Hits realised that they couldn't compete with NOW.

I only really bother with the numbered Nows (April, July and Nov I think), but is anybody else getting a bit fed up with the constant stream of 'special' versions they are releasing atm. It seems they can't go a fortnight without producing another one... and they just use the same old songs too. (Now Summer, Now Rock, Now USA, Now Anything Else...)

I mean has anybody seen the track listing for Now Rock?!?! Atrocious. :o I do wish they would re-start Now Dance though. They were brilliant back in the early 00s.

I am - and I don't buy any of them.

PS - I love the "Now 21st Century" one: nothing from before 2007 is included. (So there's no place for Gnarls Barkley's Crazy - you know, the first song to make No1 purely on downloads.)

Mate it got released on Sunday 15th and it's in top 15. So most likely will be on the tracklist.

Rather Be will not be on there as The Hits has a deal of an exclusive with that track so it will not be on a Now Album. That is why is was not on Now 87.

In that case, let's hope we get Extraordinary instead.

Out of the new releases this week, feel that the following have a chance of making the tracklist!
5 Seconds of Summer - "Don't Stop" (#1 mid weeks)
    George Ezra - "Budapest" (#3 mid-weeks)
Gorgon City - "Here for You" (#5 mid-weeks)
    Demi Lovato - "Neon Lights" (#11 mid-weeks)

Love the BIBs, but find the underlined songs hard to believe. I think maybe Neon Lights, Solo Dancing and A Billion Girls are more likely!
