Was it a guy called Jock who ran a shop called Homeboy in series 1 of Mary Queen of Shops

If it is the same person then his girlfriend also appeared on CDWM as well in an episode from Doncaster

100 per cent positive it is not Paul. The proof in the pudding (pun intended) is that Paul is a nice person and the man in Mary QOS was an ass. Quodos however for some fantastic face memorising skills!

The wine buff, GAH, he is so up himself! A real Alan Partridge.

If I were Paul, I'd be careful not to get too close to the hob in fear of my face melting:eek:

I'm getting a bit tired of this quota camp aspect of this show. It feels as though every week there's some bloke with peroxide blonde hair saying 'Chase me, chase me!' and then reappearing in a dress later in the week!

The guy in QOS was a bit of an ass as you say cowbell, he even went and opened his own shop at the end so he could rule his own little kingdom as his partners side of things was going so well.

I am not minding the campness in the show, as long as it is all in good humour, bitchiness is far more annoying in contestants.

However when watching Christian in drag my mind immediately went back to Willo the Wisp and the character of Mavis Cruet, so much so that I bought the DVD of the series in a spur of the moment bought of nostalgia. :)

Why is it that blokes who like dressing up in womens' clothes think that it will be a 'laugh' to get other blokes to do it as well? Any explanations?

I can't wait for the CDWM Soap special with the lovely Brian Capron.

I hope he's as nice as he seems and as I've always thought he was.

Well that guy certainly wasn't selected for his cooking skills.
The plate of food he served up made my stomach churn.

An enormous plate of, what looked like meat and vegetables that had been boiled for hours. The beef was grey.

Possibly the worst thing I have seen served on TV let alone CDWM

It does get a bit tedious - is it in the rules of life that if you are gay you also have to be a drag queen?

Gemo said earlier in this thread (or in another one) that she was away this week.

I’m back, but had missed most of this week.

Fancy serving Prosecco and not being able to pronounce it.

I prefer it to most champagnes.

Quite! There are two things on TV that I suspect cause one to put on weight just by looking at them. One is Michael Ball, the other is that bloke's enormous plate of stomach-stuffing.

    Is no-one watching tonight's show?

I'm watching the +1 and Brian Capron....he can whack me with his shovel any time he likes!

The knob from Hollyoaks is a prime example of why I wouldn't watch that show in a million years!

Did anyone not watch tonight's show?

I used to deliver the paper for Brian Capron, and the house he borrowed I also delivered to as well! It's just two streets away from where I live.
