    Not sure how that happened. It looked good, but I never expected to enjoy it that much.

    ^ I didn't think it was that bad but I don't understand all the praise it has been getting in horror circles, I really don't.

    End of Watch..absolutely fantastic. Some very graphic violent scenes but it was never over the top and it's quite emotional at one point 9/10

    Silent Hill: Revelation

    6/10

    I enjoyed this sequel but it's nowhere near as good as the underrated first film.

    Just seen Skyfall was really good for me would be in the top 5 bond films with the worst being Casino Royale funny as they are both Daniel Craig but skyfall had quite a lot more action in.

    Just watched new film Good Doctor, not bad thriller :D
    Dr Martin Blake (Orlando Bloom), an ambitious young medic, is eager to impress his colleagues and superiors, and when 18 year old Diane (Riley Keough) is admitted to the hospital with a kidney infection Martin gets a boost of self-confidence when he is able to diagnose her quickly. However, whilst treating her condition his interest in Diane soon becomes romantic. As she starts to recover and is about to be discharged he quickly loses sight of his medical ethics to keep her in the hospital. When a young orderly finds out what s going on and tries to use it to his advantage, Martin finds that he is no longer just fighting for respect, but for his reputation and his career.( the girl dies in the end ,
    not sure if the doc killed her or if it was a coinincedence, he was messing about with her medication etc, and the drips
    )

    and The Tall Man, another new one, not bad thriller :D ( no horrors this time :eek: )
    Mystery thriller written and directed by Pascal Laugier. The small town of Cold Rock has long suffered since the mines which used to supply jobs and prosperity have closed down. With not much hope for the community of Cold Rock anyway, matters are only made worse by the disappearance of local children at the hands of local legend, 'The Tall Man'. Jessica Biel plays young nurse, Julia Dunning, whose child is the latest to be abducted, and while in pursuit of the 'Tall Man', she brings a host of shocking truths to the fore.

    Loved most of the music, and was surprised at how good Tom Cruise was as a rock star. 8/10.

    A Perfect Match

    Ok romantic comedy from South Korea. It's about a professional matchmaker (dating agency) who falls in love with one of her clients. It's available for streaming on NETFLIX. 3/5

    I've just watched 'Bunch of Amateurs' which I'd recorded from earlier in the week. A really lovely little film with Burt Reynolds, Imelda Staunton, Derek Jacobi, Peter Gunn (Brian from Corrie - he's been in bloody loads of stuff - and always entertaining), Charles Durning and Samantha Bond.

    Eight out of Ten.
