I'm currently uploading to my YT channel too but really only a couple of my vids were reasonable quality. Wasn't too far from him (while he was performing that is, our table was too far away for the speeches etc to get decent recordings of those) but I'm not the tallest person (exactly same height as Joe in fact ) and the stage was low. Paula's, Hullabaloo's, Karen's and YL's vids are far better from what I've seen of them so far, but here are the only 2 vids from my set I think are ok:
Between us all (and there may be others) think the whole evening was captured for those who couldn't attend.
and Hunneyt has some fabulous pics as always
It was a fantastic evening and there were a couple of times where I almost lost it & the tissues were close at hand. At the start of the night, there were clips of Joe being played on the 2 big screens: him as a toddler (happy and smiling, no surprise there, mr sunshine!) interspersed with clips and photos from various gigs in the last 3 years - lots of Bents Park and the 20,000-strong crowd he'd attracted there). The speeches were wonderful - particularly from Denise and Tim - and Joe's was lovely (typically humble and appreciative) too ... could see he was a bit overwhelmed, not surprisingly.
The next morning, LL2 and I were behind Denise in the breakfast queue at the hotel and LL2 complimented Denise on her excellent speech. Denise thanked her and asked us if we'd enjoyed the evening. From the look on Denise's face as we were talking about Joe, it's clear she adores him - in fact, same facial expression from all who had paid tribute to him. As fans, we all think he's very special but it's great to see how highly he's thought of by his peers/fellow celebs too. On Friday night, one of the kindest and most talented young singers around, who has used his celebrity status for nothing but good and touched so many people's hearts, had appropriate recognition in the form of a silver heart awarded to him. I have never been prouder to be a fan
Sorry to go all soppy but it's truly how I feel.
And this is really still just the start of Joe's career. I think it will be a bright one (look at how much he's already achieved in just 3 years, including being the youngest ever to receive that silver heart award) ... and I seriously can't wait to see what's next for him
Aww Michelle, that's a lovely post and I agree with it all.
As I looked round that venue it was wonderful to see such a varied crowd supporting and surrounding this lovely kind man with such genuine affection and I was very proud to be one of them.
Fantastic post Michelle and says it all really!! An incredible night. And to watch Joe take all that praise and adulation with such humility and charm was extraordinary - my respect for him grew even more - I was in awe of how he handled it all.
Great to see so many of the Massive there - it's ever growing size is a double edged sword as I didn't get to say hi to so many (and blind without my glasses on:o)
Thanks to you and all those who posted vids and pics so that many more who couldn't be there could share in it too
Joe sang Don't Stop Believing and Nessun Dorma at the Sir Bobby Robson tribute concert at The Sage in Gateshead. Apparently he was fantastic - lots of tweets saying so!
I was looking for some of Joe's acoustics to load onto my new tablet and remembered this fantastic post of yours Dyanna, which made it so much easier, thank you

Maybe he meant it as a joke? (if it wasn't scripted)

a little video I put together of a 'young Joe' from clips shown on the night (apologies for the quality but the originals were pretty grim).

There are also lots more videos I have posted from the Variety Awards Evening on my YouTube channel – too many links to post here ☺
It was aimed at kids, what did you expect?
Though Glee Club should attract a large audience.

Still biting his nails?
He did stop for like...a month. While he was on pop star to opera star but started nibbling them again.
I thought it was worth bringing forward
