Orange iPhone 51 Extra question

I'm looking at a new contract with unlimited data, I've seen that Orange offer unlimited data & unlimited tethering, and it clearly shows "no fair usage policy"
Can Orange be trusted by that or is there a hidden usage limit?
Thank you

It's not only the "no fair use policy" you need to worry about. You need to look at there reviewable traffic management policy which they can change when ever they feel fit. That's what's happened on the t-Mobile full monty. Traffic management policy changed from uncapped to cap of 4 down and 1 up.
Sorry that does not answer your specific question but deffo something you should look into. I know I have 18months left with t-mobile. If I knew I would have gone with three.
Orange were supposed to be changing thier plans though although it hasn't happened yet. Get in quick before they do.
As is mentioned above though, they could change the speed limit but at £51, I doubt it.
Orange is the premium 3G brand, TM the budget brand.
I guess I can live with a capped speed instead of a usage policy, just means it clogs up their network for longer than it would if the speed was uncapped.
It's certainly looking like a premuim brand, I'm more attracted by the fact they state that tethering is unlimited & again no fair usage applies to it.
Thanks both of you, will pop instore and see tomorrow
Why not go with three and save £15pm...?
Some people have more money than sense sometimes.
I can agree three has very good network coverage now but it's nice to have that blanket 2g backup for when inside buildings that don't like 3G signals. Which orange and t-mobile can offer
In fact, living in a rural area, it's the main reason I wouldn't go with Three. Nearly every rural customer I go to has 2G indoors but no 3G. 3G fine outside though.
My Brother is with Three, he thinks they're great except for indoor coverage.
Don't get me wrong, I think Three are great too, especially their pricing and plans but where I live I just couldn't make the move. Maybe LTE (1800Mhz) will change this.
Agreed, what works for you might not for others. But as more and more cells get rolled out under MBLN diamond project it should just get better and better
But 99% of the time im with a 3g signal. Plus three will be offering free upgrades to 4g (apparently) so why pay more for much much less.
Obviously do a coverage check first
Three rolling out LTE at 1800Mhz will change this situation completely.
EDIT: although I just remembered that LTE doesn't currently do voice so they'll have to sort that first.
True, but based on the op the guy is looking for unlimited data and tethering as a priority so 2g wont be that important. Three will have 3g and 4g which is great for unl data. And unless the op lives in a very low signal area three should be fine for the data's side.
Im on my phone, that's why posts are short and not very descriptive sorry. Hope my point gets across
I wish folk would stop going on about 4G on Three. It's not goung to be here until October at least. No known roll out plans for this year.
