The Most Over Played Song Of 2012 ?
For me it's Titanium By David Guetta ft. Sia. Seriously over played, i listen to a lot of Radio and there has not been a day gone by where i have not heard this song since it's release. The thing is it's not even good, it awful, and the woman singing in this song has an awful singing voice.
So what song do you think has been the most over played of the year ?

If the year started September it probably would be.
That doesn't surprise me one bit. What 5 songs were ahead of it ?
i`ll give you the top 10, which i read on `the uk radio airplay chart` website on new years eve, before they wiped the `year to date` listing.
1 domino - jessie j
2 somebody that i used to know - gotye
3 call me maybe - carly rae jepsen
4 payphone - maroon 5
5 next to me - emeli sandé
6 titanium - david guetta feat. sia
7 dance with me tonight - olly murs
8 moves like jagger - maroon 5 feat. christina aguilera
9 stronger (what doesn't kill you) - kelly clarkson
10 starships - nicki minaj
Another song that has haunted me is JessieJ Domino
The one that really annoyed me was Payphone though, simply because no-one uses payphones in this day and age and also because we don't even call them payphones here in the UK. I thought it was a silly premise for a song now everyone has a phone on them at all times.
Really? Titanium was actually the ONLY good thing David Guetta had a hand in in 2012. Plus if you honestly think she has a bad voice you need to be in a straightjacket & padded cell. Sia can sing.
But the song was made by Americans and we do call them pay phones and I see them all the time. There is one across the street from my house, at every Bart(bay area's subway system) station and in quite a lot of places where I live in California(Maroon 5 are from California). I've used them quite a few times in the past year alone when my phone is dead.
I'd have to say Starships by Nicki Minaj. But the thing is, I ONLY heard it on the radio. I never heard it anywhere else (e.g. in a club, in someone else's car, at a party, at uni, etc.). But the song's radio airplay alone was so annoying, and it couldn't have happened to a less deserving song. At least a song like Somebody That I Used to Know is quite unique and extremely catchy, so you think "fair enough" when it's overplayed.
What are you on about? We do call them pay phones in the UK.
Fun's We Are Young:yawn: must have been pretty close to that top 10.
And Emeli Sande's Read All About It.
Wild Ones was another one for me. Maybe not radio play but my friend overplayed that on a trip we went on and I almost wanted to kill something everytime I heard Sia's opening vocals.
I liked Titanium by Guetta and also think Sia has a gorgeous voice, though I didnt OD on that song and I have avoided mainstream radio for years so miss out on the 'stuff yer face with this lot' identiplaylist DJ's.
I have only just discovered Jessie J - Never heard Domino but adore the pay cheque song.
That's what I was about to say.
He must live in the 1800's. anyway even if we didn't Maroon 5 are not going to change their song title just for the UK.
Call Me Maybe
Domino
Titanium
We Are Young
Radio 2 are also obsessed with the god-awful Rolling Stones and play Doom and Gloom what feels like ten times an hour.
Also Starships and Call Me Maybe, but they weren't ruined by the over playing, as I never really liked that much.
