I wondered which cancellations of shows irritated people the most, as many times shows that have great potential are shelved after only one season - if that!
For me, it's Camelot. I was a Merlin fan, but I loved having a darker take on the legend too, and one of my pet peeves is shows ending with major cliffhangers.
If there's a similar thread, apologies and feel free to ignore.

Ratings had decreased but not to the point where it needed to be cancelled. The last episode wrapped up everything to do with the storylines but for a show that had been running for 5 years and was actually a very loved show successful in so many countries, it was worthy of at least 1/2 more seasons.
Add to that the obligatory Firefly mention.
The Class
Enterprise
Where would they have gone from that cliffhanger!
Would Earl and Joy have got back together (unlikely, but if Darnell and Joy split then its a possibility)? Would Dodge have joined Randy and Earl on their quest creating a Two and A Half men type of dynamic? Would Earl have resolved to be a more involved father to him?
Come back Earl!!!
Does anyone remember Savannah? It was awful but I remember being hooked on it around 97-99. I think that ended on cliffhanger too or maybe the other episodes were just never shown or I never saw them. It annoyed the hell out of me at the time that I never found out what happened with them anyway

More recently Primeval: new world. was shocked when i heard that had been axed.
Another one was when Family Guy was cancelled after season 3, that was incredibly annoying because since it's been back it's not been quite the same. Season 1,2 and 3 of Family guy was Family Guy at it's best.
I know it was given a proper ending and some would say it had run it's course. But I would have been happy for it to run and run.
Also Vengeance Unlimited. Cancelled after just one season.
Did not like the ending of Angel and while I don't read the comics, what I have heard abut how they arrived it on I also don't like.
I really liked Ringer too and wanted it to come to some sort of proper conclusion with the two sisters actually coming face to face.
most recently primeval new world..i was really getting into it,special effects were ok,the acting wasn't bad, chenistry with the main cast..still annoyed at that 1 to be honest
Worse was when they cancelled Gumbel to Gumbel
