Fair point. But just because it's free doesn't mean it's working well. Arrrrrrgh!
That's true. It's free and is supported by advertising, but if the ads almost completely cover the page, making it unusable, well, they've defeated the purpose, haven't they? And there have been some days lately during which we simply haven't been able to read and reply because of those massive ads that expand and cover the page. There's definitely a problem here. I thought the problem only affected those of us in the US, with those targeted ads, but cc.cookie is seeing the Transformers-the-Ride_universal-Florida ad in Australia too (which makes me wonder about the functionality of so called targeted ads).

There's definitely a malfunction going on here.
I just had a problem clicking to see a spoiler. There was no 'visible' ad but every time I clicked the spoiler button it took me to the National Guard page. Finally I refreshed the page and the 'invisible' ad was gone and I was fine. Weird!

I sent Andy a couple of new screenshots today and heard back from him that they are working on it. He said they heard back from the ad company today, so maybe something will happen soon.

I started reporting this two months ago. Maybe the ad company is working for free.
I just watched Series 3 Ep 5, The Holly Bears A Prickle, and I noticed Mick sitting on that low wall facing the ocean at Bert's restaurant. It makes me nervous. I'm always afraid someone is going to fall!
The docmartinonline store ought to sell Louisa's perfume, Kenso Flower.
Louisa's bed is kinda squeaky. :)
Funny! Some commenters think it smells like heaven, and others think it smells like Play-doh.
I don't wear any perfume now b/c so many people are sensitive to it or at least object to any scents (at least where I live) but I do seem to remember reading that most perfumes give off different fragrances on different people -- that is, the perfumes interact differently with each wearer's body chemistry.

That's true. That's why testing on your wrist is important! Also I think everyone recognises different things thru scents esp memories that are evoked with some scents.

I just thought the comments were very funny. I am not sure some of them were tongue and cheek. Especially since DM had a reaction to it.
I read the comments too. I don't think I'll be trying it too soon. Any scent with all this controversy would not be for me...like Giorgio or Estée Lauder pee yuu.
I remember when we went on a cruise and perfume sales were a big thing - UUUGGGHHH. I was already sea sick the first couple of days and then to not be able to get away from the cloying scents was awful - migraine highway - never wanted to go on another cruise.
For a long time I did not walk through the perfume section in department stores and that can take some doing since they seem to always put them at the front. Held my breath, head down and plowed through.
I am perfume and scent free and hate going to things like concerts and other large events as there is always someone who bathed in some noxious scent.
There's a series of photos up at FB now showing a Louisa scene being filmed in late March. Very interesting scene, with an explanation of what we're seeing with one of the photos.
Shop Girl, isn't that the Rix house in these photos? Or just similar?
We see an actor and stuntman dressed the same, and a mattress-like thing set up at the edge of the house's balcony. Louisa argues with the man and accidently pushes him. He falls to the ground. She stands there in shock.
Wow - lots of new stuff yesterday but that one was the most interesting - and puzzling. The house looks a LOT like the Rix house and according to the poster it is on Lundy St, which is where the Rix house is. But I kept going back and forth to my pictures and it just doesn't completely match. The pictures I got were from a website listing the house for sale about 6 months ago. On the two sides we could see the windows are completely different and parts of the house just don't match.
So, either the builder of the house constructed two similar houses on that street or there has been some extensive remodeling.

My scent memory is rather similar. I was traveling in Europe and on the Hovercraft that travels across the English Channel from Dover to France. It was a choppy trip so my ex-hubby was very ill. I'm not prone to motion sickness but somebody had bought Giorgio perfume duty free and doused herself and her companions with it. It reeked to high heaven. Couple that with the boat having, without a doubt, no contest, the absolute worst loo I'd ever had the dubious pleasure to see and smell (overflowing with poop)
Thirdly, Louisa pushing the bloke off the building??? What is THAT about? I'm a little worried about what will happen to her, will he press charges etc? What were they arguing about that sparked her to push him?
The person who took the photos said the filming of that scene took place on March 28, so I checked the hand-written filming calendar and that date lists, "Governor's house". So is this guy a school governor? Must be. They use the DM names for places, like "Surgery" and "Bert's Rest." and so on.
The trip was atrocious. Giorgio has been the one of the gakkiest smells in my memory since then. My stomach flips just thinking about it. Yuk
I don't much like enclosed spaces, but the chunnel car train (you drive your car onto a train with a long series of boxcars) sounds like a better way to go -- 35 minutes shore to shore and surprisingly tolerable. If there is a next time ..... Of course, you then have to drive your British car with right had drive on the right side of the road in France, but my daughter was surprisingly proficient at that.

This was 1987...no Chunnel then..maybe next time (when they shoot S7 hopefully.

Wow, that is some excellent detective work.
As we have seen her afterwards it is safe to assume there are no problems for her afterwards. I thought the filming was recent. I also thought it might be the reason DM was running on the beach - but someone pointed out he might be looking for Penhale because Louisa was in a car accident and as he had already bumped his car into a van - he needed Penhale to drive him.

That does sound very plausible.
Maybe a car accident was the reason for the black eye and arm in sling?

But don't the pictures of the "beach party" show someone down? I thought that was why they were running.

Well, yes, they do show Caroline Bosman on the ground. But the video and photos we've seen of the Doc show him running down to the party, getting Penhale, and then both of them run back up toward the village. It's very confusing.

Yes, that makes sense. Maybe you've got it! It finally occurred to me too that we see lots of Louisa after that early scene so obviously the situation isn't too dire. She didn't get dragged off by Penhale, who finally had a reason to take his handcuffs out of the drawer.
I do still wonder and wonder and wonder about how she ends up getting injured. I bet these scenes are linked. I bet you're right. The Doc's fender bender and leap out of the car running and shouting he doesn't have time for this, and his run to get Penhale from the crowd, and Louisa ending up injured. Yep. I think you've got it.
