Little Mix (Australian Updates Thread)

Hi all,

Being Australian myself I though I'd start a thread for Little Mix in Australia. Any news ill try and post for you all.

Wings EP was released in Australia today (oct 5). It is yet to crack the iTunes pop 300, though its only been out for a few hours, so it'll need time. It's 6:45am here on Oct 5.

DNA is slated for a late-November release here as well.

Was it released at the mid-night? I was trying to find it on iTunes earlier but it was not there.

I'd say so, it was on iTunes at 5:30am, I'm not 100% sure what time it's updated. I expect it to be in the Top 100 pop by nightfall here. I shall keep you all updated.

There's been no local action for British girl group Little Mix in the past, but there seems to be a surge of demand growing behind the band's latest single 'Wings'. Already a bonafide hit in their native UK, the video for the track has already spent time in the upper reaches of the local iTunes chart.
Now, with the Australian Little Mix Street Team up and running (Facebook page HERE) and events being held in Sydney and Melbourne to spread the LM word, it looks as if there's no slowing the momentum behind the track.
Sony this morning serviced 'Wings' to local media and they've hinted that it won't be too long before we see the girls' debut album 'DNA' released down under, touting a late November in-store date.
'Wings', meantime, is released digitally tomorrow.

I hope they perform on Aus XF, would be a shame if they didn't.
Their international fanbase is growing and the AUS fans have done a great job so far promoting - it was them who requested Wings on radio starting the demand.

it would be so much better if they go to Australia and perform, just to get themselves known out there.
