See I'm much better talking to females, though I never know what to say or ask so I end up talking about myself too often. I'm very self-aware (perhaps too much) so I'm better at conversation now, but I'd never even consider making a pass at any girl I'm talking to. Just too scared to I think. Doesn't help that I barely leave the house and therefore hardly ever meet people!
