How can i remove various odd downloads from different sites: eg the last one is a percentage calculator, i had no idea that it was going to some permanent place in my computor.
I've located a particular (full of unwanted downloads) page from the "start" button, by typing in downloads.
But there is no obvious method of eliminating the 55 redundant downloads that i've somehow picked up on the web, & that are present on the page.

If you don't use Malwarebytes, it might be worth downloading and installing. Read the screen carefully though so you download mban-setup.
They are no different to any other folder items....The 'Downloads' folder is where anything you download ends up, in case you need them again. You don't have to keep any of them really. You can always find the downloads again on the web...;)
Repeat above instructions in the Trusted zone. Remember to enable it again when there's something you actually want to download.
The right click info did the trick, however, i did have to type "downloads" in the start box because programs and features showed items that it was necessary for me to keep.

Put a shortcut to it on your desktop or taskbar, you can check it regularly if you wish and just delete those you don't want to keep.
Glad it did what you wanted....:)
