A charity in New Zealand is teaching rescued dogs how to drive a car.
The canine driving school is aimed at proving how intelligent the animals can be.
Monty the giant schnauzer is among the novice drivers who have learned to control the brakes, gears and steering wheel.
I love this story!

Ah, but these dogs aren't demanding medals to save people
Snigger.....snigger
They have proved that but it leaves some serious doubts about their own.
Or maybe this one
German shepherds, rotties etc might be prone to road rage so I'd probably avoid them, and collies because although intelligent they would drive right up the bumper of the car in front and follow them home instead of going to my house.
Nah, they'd only cycle through all the red lights.
They'll be teaching them the Highway Code next
Or cock their legs on them.
Just as long as they keep off the pavements.
Blimey I see they've already started training.
