When Ronnie Corbett and Bruce Forsyth die, this will be the end of the golden era entertainers for me.
But isn't that era already over? I mean, there used to be an abundance of similar talent. I don't think 2 remaining veterans (I'd add Des O'Connor, if it weren't for the fact he's rarely seen these days) are enough to sustain it - let's face it, if we're living in any era now, it's the era of talentless trashy reality tv ****wits.

Now that Rolf Harris has been linked with Yewtree I would imagine the grief will be different - I'm not saying that he's involved in anything at all, I know he was only questioned but I think the media will be more cautious after the praise they heaped on Savile.
For me? Clive James - I will be sad, but 'end of an era'?
I was being sarcastic really as I think any chance he gets he talks about being friends with Elvis, having said that, I think he gets asked about it a lot too.

Unfortunately Clive James is a distinct possibility...very soon... He is someone that will be greatly missed...
As will Richard Briars...

I shall be truly upset when George Michael goes. When he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, I was quite fearful that he wouldn't make it.
Adding another name to the list - Sean Connery.
