The UK needs a good, fun, wholesome group like S CLub 7

A mixed group of males and females singing catchy songs and the odd Christmas ballad that appeal to multiple demographics.

Every artist now is trying too hard to be cool and sexy.

    I agree!
Sadly I don't think the charts wants a Girl/Boy group! (it's just not "cool" enough)
    Remember these: http://youtu.be/UxTKoJiMdtY ??
I thought they had potential to be BIG oooh how I was wrong!

YES I agree with this I think the charts are missing a mixed boy and girl group like S Club 7.

No. Just no. We do not need any more amateur music from some one-hit wonder group.

The world needs more groups like S Club 7?

That's not an opinion you hear too often.

Jo from the group didn't exactly turn out wholesome from what we saw of her on Big Brother

N-Dubz are reforming next year, so we'll have an amazing mixed pop group again soon. :)

The problem with Steps is they've picked up exactly where they left off. Which would be great if we were still in the late 90s/early 00s but we're not. Music has changed since then and no one likes that cheesy crap anymore. Well not by them anyway. Their 'new' single was awful!

I think Girls Aloud are pretty good and as a fan of both i think they appeal to a similar market. I don't think mixed gender pop groups are going to do very well now.

There is certainly a gap in the market for a mixed group. A mix of Glee/Steps/S Club 7 with One Direction-type music.

Perhaps in the next X Factor?

Although not from the UK, Alphabeat are based in UK, Anyone know what's happened to them?

Did S Club 7 ever appeal to anyone over the age of 9?

I thought Alphabeat were from Europe. I sort of agree, but they really need to not be aimed directly towards the teen demographic otherwise we could see hatewaves of Bieber/One Direction style.

Not sure about a mixed group but we need another young girlband and I'm really impressed by this one in particular. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfAwh8x-w4w

I think they could easily replicate some success 1D has had.

We don't need another group like S Club 7. We just don't.

Go and listen to their back catalogue if you miss them that badly. If you feel sufficiently strongly, form your own teenybopper group.

I don't think so. A mixed group like S Club wouldn't really work in today's charts. Music has moved on since their heyday.
