Why does my laptop slow down after each hibernation?

Does anybody else's laptop do this?
After about 4 - 6 hibernations it starts to really slow down, I then shut it down and when it starts a fresh start it is back to it's normal fast speed?

It might be worth installing Cleaner, looking at Tools, startup, and seeing is there is anything you don't need running at startup that can be disabled.
