Arrogant performance from Denmark

I've been a fan of Denmark, but as someone else posted on another site, its so smugly performed now that she might as well wear a t shirt saying 'i'm the winner'.
I thought tonights performance was arrogant, the silly little smirks, and the style and feeling of the original performance in the Dansk MGP has gone, i just felt that it was a bit disrespectful to the other countries, and i do think that the edge that Denmark had over other countries has actually gone, and they might get a shock on saturday, as certainly the Ukraine; Norway and Germany certainly have the potential to overtake them.
I actually think that the peformance in the semis was very sterile, always a performance by numbers....and i felt the presenters felt so too, hence the comment about the golden shower, as if they were anticipating the win.

BiB 1- They weren't smirks, they were smiles. I think, like most of the performers, she's just genuinley thrilled to be there.
BiB 2- Ukraine's staging was a mess tonight, and they're odds are slipping. I think even Top 5 is beyond them now.
BiB 3- That comment was made by a guest on BBC3 (where smut is practically encouraged!), and that guest was Julie Zwhatever (I can't spell her surname)- a comedian and shock jock. Golden Showers are par for the course (so to speak)
I suppose if there's a problem with the transmission on Saturday night they can always run the semi-final performance as it has winner's reprieve written all over it.
How much confetti have they got lined up for the winner if that's what they used for a semi-final performance?
My guess of the result.
1 Denmark
2 Russia
3 Ukraine
4 Estonia
5 Belgium
6 Belarus
7 The Netherlands
8 Ireland
9 Moldova
10 Lithuania
11 Montenegro
12 Austria
13 Slovenia
14 Serbia
15 Cyprus
16 Croatia
Yeah I can see why people would think that. It does feel like the reprise of a winning entry with all that shower of sparks and confetti falling around the stage.
Couldn't see any arrogance in the performance; imo e.g. Ukraine seemed far more arrogant... Denmark would be so good a winner over the likes of Azerbaijan, Georgia and (god forbid) Russia. (Though Netherlands would be even better, but I doubt they have a chance...)
I think perhaps you feel like they've somehow cheated by being the favourite to win - there's a lot of disproportionate spite coming out of social networks and forums over her, but she's just a girl. Give her a break!
I thought the competition was good, but their style of song wasn't really competed against, the other songs were in different styles to them. I wouldn't really say she was that pretty either, if that really matters.
Are you posting from the future?
The confetti for Denmark i would say was decided by the Danish delegation but it certainly did look like it was the wining performance as thats usually the only time we see confetti.
While the Irish entry is great i dont think it stands a chance to win, from semi qualifiers The Netherlands are the only ones i can see upsetting Denmark for the win.
I'd be surprised if Anouk was near the top, I thought it was likely she only just scraped through.
The problem with that flute is that it can be still heard clearly whilst he is banging his drum later on! That doesn't make for particularly consistent miming, in my opinion.:D
