Adding non freesat channels - Manhattan Plaza DS-100

So had a Manhattan Plaza DS-100 freesat box installed through the digital help scheme in my mums bedroom and want to possibly add non freesat channels.

Now i know of the website which list various channels available http://en.kingofsat.net/freqs.php?&pos=28.2E&standard=All&ordre=freq&filtre=Clear

When i look at that site i don't see frequency or symbol rate listed anywhere in order to input them on my box and i have no idea what the rest of the stuff like SID VPID Audio PMT PCR means so i am unable to add channels.

So can anyone point me in the right direction.

hi when you go to the page you have linked to, look at the header part in light blue above the group of each channels... eg

    Astra 2D (28.2E) - 10714.00 H - Txp: 41 - Beam: Astra 2D DVB-S (QPSK) - 22000 5/6

that should be all you need

    In the above example

    Frequency is 10714
    Polarisation is H (Horizontal)
    Symbol Rate is 22000
    Error Correction (FEC) is 5/6

That's all you normally need to specify

Thanks very much for that, now have some extra channels over and above what's on freesat already.

OP, you might find this is an easier list to work from, although I can;t say if it's kept up to date as well:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free-to-air_channels_at_28E

You can also sort the rows in each group by EPG number to quickly group those without.

A very useful bit of information, I was puzzled about Frequency, LNB Polarisation and Symbol Rate too!

Does anyone know what satellites a UK Freesat dish can currently pick up without adding anything to it or realigning it? I think Astra 2D is one but are the any other satellites?

    Cheers!

Here's another list, on a site that's always kept up to date. http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html

You can add any of those not already on freesat, except for those on the Nigeria spot beam that's not receivable here.
