This show is not dividing me. It's better than the first season, hands down.

Oh and tonight's episode was brilliant. Sarah Paulson, take a bow. Your performance was excellent. Jessica Lange's squirrel monologue? perfection. Lily Rabe being Lily Rabe. Doesn't get any better.

How will Lana escape. She just cant die.
Also the last scene of Anne Frank and it panned to the photos in her house where she had collected all the second world war material and it showed Hitler and some others in the background with Dr Arden. Reminded me of ' The Shining. ' Was it meant to mean that Dr Arden had been Nazi and it wasnt her imagination. Was she there after all somehow .I just love Sister Jude.

I will be gutted if Lana dies. She is my favourite character and Sarah Paulson deserves at least an award nomination for her performance.

In 2012, the song is featured prominently in US anthology series American Horror Story: Asylum, the events of which take place in 1964. The original Belgian French version of the song is playing over-and-over in the common room of the insane asylum, and the inmates are punished if they disrupt or stop the song from playing.

I love this season. I loved the first, but there were moments when I wondered why I was watching it. I find the second series absolutely gripping, and the acting is fantastic! I wasn't expecting Zachary Qunito to go all......Sylar!

I think she either was Anne Frank and hid it so well that she forgot and now her true self has been erased or that she just became so obsessed that she really uncovered the truth, I'm erring on my first theory though as Dr Arden certainly looked at her in a way that suggested he recognised her.

I really liked the "angry ghosts" theme of the first series and while I'm finding the acting performances mostly superb this series I'm less gripped by the psycho slasher / torture porn theme this time round. Maybe for series 3 they'll have a monster theme (but please, not zombies or vampires...)

I'm finding this series a bit messy. I think the problem with both series are that too many ideas are thrown at them. It ends up making it all a lot less scary than it would be otherwise. There needs to be some sort of balance, where are the normal characters?

Its grown on me a lot. you have to concentrate, I tried to watch an episode while doing some work and I missed 80% of it so had to watch it again :)

Have you watched the whole series? There's been a number of scenes set in the present day, this was one of them.

Yes.The whole of it. I didnt realise the building the couple were in episode one was the same asylum Briarcliffe Manor where Sister Jude is in charge of / now abandoned in the present ..So the series is set in the past and present and serial killer bloody face is still around decades later.

I'm still struggling, I won't give up though!! Parts of it I really enjoyed, this last episode especially but there are still some bits I really think 'eh???'

Season one was so spectalar I think to be honest the second season was always going to be a slight let down.

Another cracking episode last night, feel so sorry for Lana...of all the bad luck she has to get into a car driven by a nutcase !
Not sure was Sister Mary Eunice's plans for her are though ?
Poor Grace :(, i guess Kit won't get away again.
I think that the father of the girl Sister Jude knocked over was incredibly suspicious of Jude and her "story".

Does anyone know how many episodes there are for this series ?

Last Nights eppy was dissapointing for me, which is a shame as Its one of the few shows I realy look forward to..It wasnt all bad, Liked seeing Moyra from season 1 and its moving along nicely even if it is frustrating seeing the ones im rooting for keep getting knocked down just when you think their safe..But last night..W.T.F was going on with the editing? It drove me insane at times..Oops better not say that too loudly, don't really fancy a stay at Briarcliff !!.....

I loved this weeks episode but who the hell or what the hell was that thing that came after Kit. Was it one of the things from the woods? Totally lost me at the ending.

I agree about the off-putting editing. The scenes are also shot from some very weird camera angles. I wonder if their intention is to make you feel like one of the inmates, all confused and disorientated.

This series is growing on me, though.
