Time Crimes 7/10 - It's about a man who accidently goes back in time an hour and the predicament he finds himself in. (Lovefilms in Spanish with English subtitles)
This movie has no glamorous stars or any glamorous sets and yet it is still entertaining, clever and amusing. However, I felt the end was left slightly unresolved. Despite that, I would still recommend it.
Oh dear. It's so bad I'm not sure where to begin. Ray Winstone phoning in another performance, just being Ray Winstone again( mumbles, the odd snarl, grunts)... Plan B is so inept at acting I'm gobsmacked someone hired him. Just give it up already, please. The storyline was thin and vague, the big set piece was a chase around a caravan park... the 'love' story between Ray & a hot nubile young officer was absolutely repulsive, particularly the endless shots of Ray's massive gut portruding o'er his y-fronts *vom*... what the hell were they thinking?????
Being a fan of Morgan Freeman I enjoyed Kiss The Girls and Along Came a Spider. I hadn't heard much about this movie and was eager to see another outing in the form of a prequel.
I have to say I found it to be an extremely average formulaic actioner. The casting of Tyler Perry was just wrong imo. I found myself wondering why on earth he was cast, several times throughout the movie.
See it if you fancy oogling a very ripped Matthew Fox. Otherwise skip it.

Ray Winston shagging, definately 0/10. I don't need to see that.

If you have any sense, I would avoid it. It's best not to get those horrendous pictures of Ray in your head in the first place.:p
I feel sick at just remembering Ray with the hot nubile young officer and his y-fronts.
Once in head, it appears it's hard to erase... Yuck!

I concur. Don't get me wrong I like Ray but there are some things in life you don't need to see and once seen can't be undone. Ray having it off is one of those things.
The Intouchables (France 2011)8/10
French film involving an unllikely friendship between and millionaire paraplegic and an ex convict who temporarily takes over the role of carer. Based on a true story, it is charming and hits just the right notes, if Hollywood made this it would be so OTT schmaltzy. Biggest grossing film in France ever, well worth a look!
Dog tooth (2009, Greece)6/10
A story about three siblings who are cut off from society by their parents who lie to them about the outside world, it's sort of a dark comedy but it's a bit dusturbing and creepy in parts too, not bad.
The Impossible - the cheeky product placement at the very end deserved a 2-point deduction. No idea why Naomi got nominated. The visual effects re-enacting the tsunami were really impressive though 7/10
Cloud Atlas - the film complemented the book really well (starting from the narrative structure) The makeup for all characters was terrific - why the team didn't get any Oscar nomination is beyond me. It would be much easier understanding the film if you read the book before hand 8/10

8/10. One of the better 'horror' movies these days. Rather creepy but with a predictable ending.
1/10. Abysmal Misery rip-off, with ham acting and no redeemable features.

Not sure what to think about this film, if I tried I might have some kind of stroke.

5/10
Feeble comedy starring the late Chris Farley.
Helen (2008) 5/10
Still love Jennifer Lawrence
The Social Network- Excellent film. Brilliant score also. The pace and the dialogue are first rate. 8/10
Kill Bill Vol 2- Always thought it was better than the first, and one of Tarantino's better films. 7.5/10
Misery- Been ages since I watched it. Kathy Bates is amazing in it. Good watch. 7/10
Ruined by a stupid last quarter.

Have it to watch later
You might enjoy it, if you like stoned teddy bears
