John Barrowman has just said on ITV this Morning that he's in discussions about being in the DW 50th anniv.
He said until yesterday he hadn't heard anything , but he said thats just changed, and now he can say he's in discussions!

Give Ten Martha and Donna.
Oh thats a shame. Perhaps you should write to Steven Moffat and tell him to reconsider lest he risk losing you as a viewer.
I can't keep up.
Just wait till you read what DiscoP said was in the new St John's poster...
Too true.
Let's hope we hear of a few more coming back too.
Agreed. I wish they'd all stop being coy.:D
Just read it - I had palpitations!
He was also talking about his book that he has written with his sister, I hope the book does well as it sounds interesting.
Me neither. This is one case where their misinformation PR tactics are working brilliantly.
It either means they have asked him and are discussing it with his people.
Or that he is in it and they have been having discussions.
I would be extremely surprised if they could afford to have everyone make an appearance.
As for being in discussions, that still leaves a lot of doubt as to how he could fit it in, his schedule, budget, etc.
How on Earth could you not get the joke?
Oh, the irony.
There have been lots of comments by various ex-DW personnel reported recently, denying that they are involved in any way in the 50th anniversary programme. Some posters on here have chosen to see this as a sure sign that they are going to be in it.
My post was a joking reference to that.:)
Edit: Thanks, GDK and nebo. At least two people got it.
The Inn misses you.

"Re 50th I didn't say in what capacity or what medium so stay calm and carry on . Jb"
Methinks he wasn't supposed to say anything this morning.
I knew you'd get it, davros!
As for appearances by Captain Jack, Leela, 10th, 9th and 8th Doctors and assorted companions (especially if this includes wonderful Lucie and even more wonderful Rory) any Classic era Doctors who feel up to it, and, of course any alien you can think of (especially a certain cute alien with lots of arms) I'm all for it - the more the merrier.
Of course, there may not be time for an actual plot, but who cares?:)
But it's actually because they've asked him to host the Doctor Who celebrity edition of Don't Scare The Hare.
That's what Terrance Dicks and Peter Moffatt said!
I can understand how they'd want to keep that a secret!
