Definitely my era. SO much good music in 1978. A lot of great records simply didnt make the top 40 . See tonight they have The Babys on. What a superb record but not a hit . Eddie and the Hot rods had a good follow up to their hit.
Looking forward to seeing Lulu sometime with her great single 'Your Love is everywhere'. Loved that record. Bombed!
SO many different styles of music in the charts back then. Shame about wogan spoiling tonights show again!
Eddie and the Hot Rods showing why they didn't really last all that long..
Came in at 36, dropped to 38 and then out of the Top 40, although in 1978 viewers only got to see the Top 30 on ToTP so they won't have even been aware of how "well" it had done if they were relying on the programme for their chart information.

Plenty of Christmas leftovers well into January.

It's no 'Do Anything You Want To Do', even though it's trying to be.
Possibly. It was at 18 from 34 the previous week.
And they sound like The Strokes haha
Dont remember that at all
Totally agree. Goes to dig out the 45 rpm ;)
Julie, you're wrong.

This track is a bit too dreary for my liking.
