Plunged for 'Crimson' just for being great fun.
Loved it.
Closely followed by The Crimson Horror and The Snowman!
Angels, The Snowmen, Cold War and Crimson Horror are sort of jockeying for 2nd place.
That's what I voted for, although I think Asylum was just as good.
The Crimson Horror is probably my second favourite. I thought it was brilliantly done, balancing the humour, drama, effects and characters brilliantly.
I would say A Town Called Mercy is also up there, as are The Angels Take Manhattan and The Rings of Akhaten. Perhaps Hide as well. However none of these would stand up very well in a previous series against the best of the bunch, so it really boils down to either Asylum' or Crimson'
I'll be giving my vote to Asylum of the Daleks - it sums up the content of Series 7 nicely. Amy, Rory and Clara all being sort-of in the same story, as well as the iconic Daleks getting a brilliant story for the first time since The Stolen Earth
Same here.
1: The Snowmen
2: Asylum Of The Daleks
3: The Crimson Horror
4: Hide
5: The Angels Take Manhattan
Oh God, not this arrogant "filler episode" tripe again...
I abhor that phrase.
Anyway, I voted The Angels Take Manhattan as it was superb.
This is closely followed by A Town Called Mercy and Hide which were also brilliant (apart from Hide's ending, but I can ignore that).
There's none I haven't really enjoyed at all; Cold War was probably the weakest for me. I was really pleased to see Mark Gattis deliver a very good episode with the Crimson Horror.
Very enjoyable, if a bit silly.
2 or 3 others have had their moments, Asylum, Cold War and the Snowmen.
Hide and Crimson Horror are tied for second.
2. Asylum of the Daleks
3. Angels Take Manhatten
4. The Snowmen
5. Cold War
2. Asylum of the Daleks
3. The Snowmen
4. The Crimson Horror
5. The Power of Three
2. Hide
3. The Snowmen
4. The Crimson Horror
5. Journey To The Centre Of The Tardis
my 10/10 episodes for series 7 are -
Asylum, Manhattan, Snowmen, Hide and Crimson Horror so i am really torn with those 5 to be honest!
Mercy, Akhaten, Cold War and Journey are also notable episodes i will rewatch in the future....cannot wait for the next two
If only Moffat hadn't made a mess of Clara. And even though I don't like arc thingys, I can see why people who do like strong arcs prefer it to the Clara mystery.
A really really good run of episodes. Asylum and Crimson standouts.

I agree with Nebogipfel. I love Jenna Louise. Great actress. I love the idea of Clara and enjoy her on screen. Thought she was brilliant in Asylum and The Snowmen in particular and also think Hide was a great episode for her. Has had some great on screen chemistry with Matt. But something hasn't quite clicked...yet. Hopefully it is early days. It isn't anything to do with Jenna who as I say is wonderful and a great companion potentially, its just her story hasn't worked for me and grabbed my attention. Difficult to pinpoint exactly why as all the elements are good but they aren't adding up quite as they should. Maybe for me it is that in trying to shy away from being too arc heavy but wanting to retain a degree of an arc it has fallen between the two and thus hasn't satisfied either way.
Still looking forward to how it pans out and hoping if Jenna and Matt are on board for S8 then once the initial mystery is solved as has been promised they can develop her character further and perhaps take it in a different direction.
On the whole though S7 has been a real treat despite split and uncertainty.
