Hi guy's. :)

I was wondering, if you book a ticket online do you get given a seat number, or get given a seat number when you get your ticket from the machine?

The only cineworlds that i have been in have always been find your own seat - no number given at all not even on the ticket.

I went once and I was given a seat number but the next time I was allowed to sit anywhere.

I want to book online for the first screening of Man of Steel but don't want to get given a crap seat.

You left out the most vital information! Were you given a seat number? :D

Then "turn up early" seems to be the only advice.

Certainly our local Cineworld has never allowed you to reserve a seat in the couple of years I've been booking online.

It depends on the cinema. My local is always allocated seating, but I know of at least one which is not.
