Is there any porn on Freeview?

My friend just claimed there is porn on Freeview, late at night!
This has astounded me.
I’ve had Freeview for many, many years and I’m very familiar with all the channels (I regularly re-scan). I’ve never seen even a hint of porn anywhere, apart from the encrypted channels which (presumably) you have to pay for.
If I thought I’d been free missing porn all these years, I would be absolutely sickened.
Totally confused!

Not really much point worrying you may have missed free tv porn if you have internets.
Ofcom doesn't allow them to get the grumble and grunt out. They aren't even allowed to touch down there and they wear 2 pairs of knickers, they can only get their boobs out.
Plus no swearing on TV.
I’ve switched to several channels like Babestation many times, at all hours of the night, and it’s always just a blank screen, nothing showing at all (presumably encrypted).
What are these dial-a-ho channels? What are the channels called? Do you mean the late night quiz shows like Make Your Play? Or are you telling me Freeview has “sexy phone chat” channels, like you get on satellite?
How can I be missing all this? I’m starting to think there’s been something wrong with my PVR ever since I bought it.
I wonder if adult channels use some special kind of signal that not all boxes can receive?
In the way of research (I swear) I have seen naked except for high heels and a pink scarf(?) strategically pulled, placed, moved to hide from view - not even that when not in view.
• Choice and wealth of material
• High picture quality
• Hardcore content
But TV porn has a few minor advantages:
• It’s British material (which is relatively rare online)
• It’s more convenient to watch in the living room.
• It’s much easier to download (and no download time).
• Easier to play back (with a remote control)
• It’s not just porn because TV porn is often entertaining in other ways or has an educational element (a great example of this is Naked News, which I love).
Can you make pornography come on my telly please?
Only if you fancy paying £9.99 a month for it otherwise google search it.
Search for Redtube.
I can't, but I love the quote!
Yes. They're completely free-to-air with no broadcaster child-protection mechanisms in place; there's speculation that they'll be eliminated from Freeview next year on account of being depraving of their child viewers (i.e. obscene).
The only reasons you'd not be getting them are:
a) You haven't been fully retuning your Freeview equipment; manually delete all stations before retuning or use the option which does that (i.e. Factory Reset / First Time Setup).
b) You're not receiving the full Freeview channel list because you live in an area with "conflicting TV masts". The solution being Manual Tuning.
c) You're not receiving the full Freeview channel list because you live in an area requiring it, but haven't changed your aerial to a different Group/Gain rating. A tell-tale for this is if you don't receive (P38) Quest and (P15) Film4.

Alas, I cannot! But it is a salient reminder of why not to sit too close to the screen.:cool:
The best quote I can think of was from the Dummy, who was the star of Ark Royal ship TV, shown on the BBC.
"Hello you Winkers"
No wonder people call them slapper channels! I wonder how old the men are who these girls are talking to?
Get a BT Vision account and select The Adult Channel the only thing you have to Subscribe to them to access a PIN NUMBER
and there you are good Luck
Thanks very much for the info!
First of all it definitely isn’t C as I have lived in several different houses and towns since I first started watching Freeview.
As for the other two, I looked at the list of channels, and I do get all those channels, it’s just that a lot of them (mostly the higher number ones) show up as a black screen on my TV, so I have always assumed they’re encrypted.
Something is definitely wrong with my box. Just as well I’m in the process of setting up a new PVR as we speak, so maybe this one will get the channels the old one didn’t get?
