    Got it on here

I would assume they are doing the original Dead trilogy and Day of the Dead will be on next week

Half two in the morning...only the dead are up at that time bwahahahaha.

BBC2 should make a bigger deal of showing these films, i only stumbled,, across dawn by accident!
Had this on vhs, just watched the latest walking dead as well, dawn is superior imho!!

    !

Couldn't agree more. They need to revive something like the old 'Moviedrome' slot, and include a little featurette as an introduction to the film.

Perhaps they should also start doing themed seasons of films again. I have very fond memories of a BBC 2 sci- fi film season in the 80's, which allowed me to see many, many classics for the first time. Stuff like When Worlds Collide, Dark Star, Silent Running etc...

Sorry to be pedantic, but that's a line from Return of the Living Dead which was an unofficial offshoot of Romero's Dead series.

the weakest of the original trilogy imo...but great if compared to the last two.

I respectfully disagree. 'Dawn' is the strongest of all the ...'Living Dead' films, in my opinion, of course.

Oops. Just realised the silly error in my post, before I get any kind of flaming for it.

Agree totally!! Remember being exposed to cool films i would never have seen otherwise...La Haine, Electra Glide in Blue..Q The Winged Serpent jump to mind. Really diverse movies from different times and genres but the one thing they had in common, was that i saw them all on BBC2 on a Sunday night!!

    Zombies shuffle and only shuffle!

Anyone who has been paying attention will have spotted that late night BBC has thrown up some interesting offerings recently. It can only be a matter of time before Le Boucher is on!

Westworld is on BBC1 next Saturday

Day of the Dead is on BBC2 Next Saturday.

That's the only one of the series I don't have on DVD yet

Joe Pilato who plays Capt. Rhodes in that was also one of the cops who was doing a runner in Dawn
